I'm Ordering a big BLT for Thanksgiving 2010 NEW 12/3 started TR! see link

My answers in red!

I too wish the Stars Motor car parade would come back...I never did get to see that...and I love trying to do something special w/ my oldest daughter each time we go...I hope to do something w/ just Rachel this trip too and so-on as my 3 girls get older...Nathan being my only son...he seems to get a lot special daily moments...so I too cherish those Disney days...and I agree no WDW trip is complete w/out at least one monorail ride...

Your Thanksgiving story sounds great...maybe something cool like that will happen again this year :goodvibes

and love your HM, IASW w/ Doanld dream :rotfl:

4) What one resort would you love to stay at?
Beach Club or Animal Kingdom Lodge Savannah View – I think the boys would love both!

those sound great! I want do do AKL one day too

5) What now gone ride/attraction/show do you wish they’d bring back?
Hmmm… I can’t think of any good ones right now… I remember 20,000 leagues under the sea, but I remember that it freaked me out too!

I remember going on that too as a kid! I think I liked it but I know I didn't like the movie...

8) Name your favorite snack, insider trick, resting spot, special piece of MAGIC ( i.e. Singing in the Rain Umbrella type thing), and picture spot at WDW.
Not sure I have a favorite snack… Disney popcorn is a must at least once or twice during each trip. Alex loves the Itzakadoozi (sp?) popsicles.
For us, the GAC is a little piece of magic! We wouldn’t come back year after year if we couldn’t have the normal family vacation that it helps to provide.

I agree completely we never could do Disney w/ our kids' needs w/out that....

9) Tell about your most treasured memory at WDW to date.
I seem to have a picture of the boys walking hand-in-hand from every trip.

I love those :goodvibes we have some really cute pic's like that too

10) Do you TGM or touring-plan and/or what other Disney sites do you live by?
Tour Guide Mike baby!! Actually I subscribe to both, but follow TGM more.

:rotfl: you crack me up

12) Do you have a favorite Dis-ism?

Anything with initials! :rotfl:

How did I know you'd say that...

16) What trips do you have planned or are dreaming of?

Three in the works – 9/30 3 nights with Laura, 2/24 10 nights for our next Family Trip and a mystery trip to be revealed soon! :rolleyes1
Dreaming of two trips in 2012 – family trip & trip with you!

oohh...secrets huh...and yes can't wait for 2012 girls only :woohoo:

18) Are you looking forward to the new FL expansion and if yes…what specifically?
Not particularly… it sounds very princess heavy which won’t appeal to my boys. Though I’ve recently heard they are trying to change that princess heavy image… we’ll see. I’ll definitely check it out.

Yes right now it sure seems one sided...I am excited...but Nathan at going on 13/14 will be bored or oh look at those pretty princesses

19) Is there a ride or food, etc that you have never gone on or tried?
Food? Lots… Dole Whip! Epcot slushie! Mickey ice cream bar!
Ride? TTA! WDW RR! Figment… at least it’s been so long that I don’t think he was part of the ride when I last rode it. Plan to knock all three of these off my list within the next year!

I'll get a slushie w/ ya!

thanks for playing guys...can't wait for more answers....popcorn::

9) Tell about your most treasured memory at WDW to date.

I've got two but I'll only give you one! LOL

Right before our trip in June 2008, Disney added a morning EMH to our AK day. I wasn't planning on doing any EMHs but this was our only day for AK so we went. I'm so glad we did! We were able to find an open spot right up on the rope in the corner. The girls had on matching tank tops and for some reason I was just so excited about this park. Two CMs were standing there, male and female, and the female CM came up and started talking to us. (I also had my 1st Visit Button on the strap of our backpack.) We were telling her how much we were enjoying our first trip and she talked to the girls some. She asked us where we were heading for the morning and I told her we were going to the safari. We chit chatted some more then she asked the girls if they would like to help her with something. They both said "Sure". The CM said "Do you think you could help me open the park?" Can you say HE$$ YEAH!!!  (I didn't say that but I was sure thinking it!!) So, she had us join her on the other side of the rope and we stood there and waited for the opening show to end. I was just so excited I could stand myself!! LOL As the safari truck pulled away the CMs and our family started walking behind it. Hannah and Alison were walking in between the two CMs helping them hold the rope. When we got to the safari the CM took us through the FP line and we had our very own safari vehicle. It was awesome! I got one of my favorite pictures of our trip from that experience: a picture of the girls walking with the CMs holding the rope. Indulge my sharing?

HannahAlisonOpeningAK.jpg

They look so tiny in this picture! LOL

My avatar is the picture we got after our safari.

Not yet!

.

wow Jennifer down to a week....and hey MK studio view not bad...

definetly take pictures of your views! Amy (DisMom) is going to get me the maps, etc as she is going to pick up a few things for me too...so she'll mail all at once.

I should look over that orginal PM I sent you to see if I have any other Q's...get back to you.

did I ask to see if there was a community hall handout or a posting you can take a picture of for the things they have?

thanks

J~

I will look into community hall info for you.
Just let me know if there's anything else you'd like me to investigate!

Hey, Jennifer! I just saw you are down to 7 days -- woo hoo!!! You will absolutely love BLT...the only complaint I've heard is the sink set-up in the studios, but that's a minor point when you are ON VACATION @ DISNEY!!!!

Have a blast!:cool1:

Thanks!

I visited the BLT model rooms at the Doorway to Dreams store and also thought the sink set up in the studios was weird. I think they should have just left the vanity/sink area in the bathroom, not across from the kitchenette. But it's for one night and it's DISNEY!!

Hey to the few of you who will be traveling soon...

can anyone check for me what the ingredients are in the Nestle Frozen Lemonade cup?:confused3

not the slushie but the kind you can get say at FTBBQ?

I know it's gluten free, but wondering about diary (milk)

don't feel like you have to go out of your way...but if you order one or want to ask...I'd be thankful...

I'm working on a food picture chart for Naomi-Ruth so she can see what kind of foods she can eat...

TIA

J~

If anyone in our group of 9 :scared1: orders one, I'll take a look at the label.

1) What is your Dis name and why did you pick it? Hedy-I used it elsewhere on the 'net. It's an illusion to a character in How to Succeed in Business without Even Trying, and an old movie star. My name is Heather, so it kind of came about organically.

2) How many times have you been to WDW (and other Disney vacations spots if applicable)? WDW seven times, Disneyland once.
