I'm newly engaged and need help!

Hello!

I just got back from my Nov 2008 trip to Disney World and My DBF became DF on our trip! I've been lurking on this board for a long time because i liked looking at all of the pretty pictures you all have and reading you're great stories. Well now I'm finally engaged and can introduce myself! I started a TR that has my engagement story in it and some information on why i'm going to need so much help. The link is in my SIG. Once the TR is over i think i'm going to move the thread to the wedding planning board so if any of you experts want to start helping early click on the link!

I just finished reading your TR! Wow, what a moron at the TSA. Nontheless, a wonderful trip with a magical twist! Congrats, and regarding planning help: YOU HAVE COME TO THE RIGHT PLACE! thanks ladies. The TSA does not sit well with me anymore....i had a few choice words for that guy but they aren't appropriate for the DIS but i'm sure you can imagine what they are. I'm glad i know that i have the support and help of all of you.

hey disneyaddict you're from boston i just noticed! DF and I both grew up in Saugus which is only 15 mins north of boston!!

The town is 2 square miles, there is no room to hide I am so excited for you, you are going to absolutely LOVE planning your wedding. : Keep us posted on your planning ! Well actually both parties grew up in winthrop! One moved to wakefield but the other still lives there! Last names are flintoff and macfarland. The happy couple moved into an apartment in winthrop after the wedding. It was very funny because about a month before the wedding me and the bride went to dinner and we walked to the resturante (a little mexican place i'm sure you know!) and on the way every was saying hello to her. It's like a little town out of pleasantville. So cute.

I don't know if i'll make it to the after christmas sale at the disney store.... but we'll see how the funds are maybe i'll get another disney gift card! my family knows about my obsession and they're such enablers!

Ok where do you brides even begin?? I started calling around and trying to find places that were in "the budget" and its hard! So many different things to think about when planning all of this stuff. It can get pretty overwhelming really quickly! and some of the prices places charge! Anyway any advice on how to keep things in a budget and make this process alittle less crazy?

well, thats the hard part! I think your first decisions should be how many guests are you going to invite, and how big do you want your wedding to be, because that will determine if you choose wishes or escape...

wait are you having a Disnwedding or an at home wedding and a dismoon?

We are not getting married until summer or fall of 2010 and I seem to have become addicted to this board. Be careful, lol, once you make your decisions, you will see something else you have to have! I change my plans often..
