it will be myself and 2 other leaders and about 15 junior girl scouts. It is my first time going with the scouts on their annual trip, and it is supposed to be 90+ degrees...good day to be in the water and slathered down in sunblock!!!!

We were there over our kids' Spring Break, back in March. It was fun sitting in the hot tub while it was snowing out!!

I worked at the Dells a long time ago (1977).

I was the darkroom tech in an old time photo place.
Ya know get dressed up in an old time costume get robbed for reprints and enlargments.

The biggest orders were from couples where an older guy dressed as a gambler and much younger woman was dressed as gold digger. Now how does that song at Honey I shrunk.. go, "I see your true colors shining..."

I haven't been there in a few years. Everything is so expensive there!! For the money I would spend in the dells, I could go to Disney for a few days.

we were at Noah's Ark last Tuesday. It was a rare cool day.

Whoah, you think Disney is expensive!.

Ahh the Dells. What a tourist trap.

There used to be places - Jimmy’s Dell Bar - don’t know if it is still there – it was a nice place for dinner for the Dells.

Just out of High school - I was staying with friends, at a place in Oxford Wis. they were worth millions but didn’t look it. Their parents thought we should all learn to golf so they bought us all clubs and got us up at 6:00 to play once or twice a week.

Jimmy had a nine-hole golf course outside town. We used to play there. I would go work in the Dells and they would all play another 9.

We looked like a bunch of bums, went into Jimmy's Dell Bar for dinner and the bar tender is giving us the “maybe if I ignore them they will go way” treatment. Jimmy walks into the crowed bar and surveys his domain. It is packed. He smiles and waves across the room and using first names yells across the room asking how we hit’m that morning.

I though the bartender was going to die when his boss come over to talk golf.

They must have dropped the "Jimmy's". When we were at the Dells in March, a family that was at our resort went to eat there, and said it was pretty good. We never got over there.

We DID go to Wally's House of Embers, though. Remember that one? DH LOVED it!!

Got back around 7:00 pm, we all had a blast....it was busy at Family Land....hot as heck....used lots of sunblock...can't wait to go back...its nice to only live a little over an hours drive away!!!
