I'm going to kill my dog!!!!!

Wow! This thread has sure gone along way since the last time I was here. Thanks POOH AND WENDY for all your support and kind words. My crew is fine. Hope yours is well too. And I was going to comment to AIRHEAD, but I guess what was already said was pretty much on the money. To answer a question, Jasmine was in her crate for about 4 1/2 hours while we were gone. And she was out for about 1/2 hour before we left. So it wasn't a long time we were gone. BTW, she was good today. Guess, the bathand blowdrying she got yesterday is still fresh in her mind. LOL Oh and someone also asked, I have to confine jasmine, when we're gone because she chews. Hopefully, she'll stop soon. She has gotten alot better, but still does it from time to time. My 14yo collie has the run of the house. And to give you a better picture, We live on 3 acres and our drivway is over 100ft long with a huge pad in the back of the house, so no she wasn't right near the street. Some of your posts really made me laugh this time around. Thanks guys!!!!:teeth:

Glad to hear you are laughing it IS the best medicine!;) :teeth: Gee, I hope all these "experts" don't work for the Human Society!

I'm an owner of a Cocker Spaniel and when I read your post I lol. I knew you were just venting and the idea of your dog sitting in the driveway with his crate and a sad look on his face was very funny. When I saw the title of your thread I did laugh and said to my DH who was standing nearby "Oh boy, this poor person is going to get slammed" and sadly you did. I'm glad alot of people could see the humor in your thread. I've really noticed some people on this board lately seem to like making others feel bad, maybe it was here all along and I didn't notice. It's sad. But there are so many others here who are great.

I feel for you also...

I have a pug herd in my house right now. I am currenty working on training 2 very hyper little pug babies who will be 5mo old in April. You think one is bad, try 2..LOL...of course Wario is getting the hang of it much quicker then his sister. I had the same problem with Zelda when she was growing up. I was always told that they would hold it as they didnt like to wallow in there own poo. Well unfortunatly, she didnt care. It really was gross. On the flip side, Austin learned to "hold it" almost within the first 3 mo of owning him. So I feel for ya about that. I would bathe Zelda, put her away for the night, and less then 5 hrs later, she needed another bath. And this was when she was almost a year old. Thankfully that is behind us with them, and there reward was sleeping with us at night.

I want to commend you on what u do. Anyone involved in rescue deserves a  Its tough work and not everyone has the patience. There are times when things just get to us and we go to our friends to vent. When they dont quite listen, it just makes it worse. Good Luck, and give that doggie a  for me.
