Oh I would have freaked out over the bug too!! No thank you!! Omg your pictures of POR have got me so excited. We are not even staying in a Royal Room, but wow those rooms are incredible! It would totally make me feel like a princess!!!

LOL about the bug. I hate them.
They have signs at DTD now but they are not big. They mostly all share stops with other resorts being the space is so limited.
The boat was straight ahead of you in DTD. It is a lovely ride.
Glad you made it. Outside of DVC it is my favorite resort.
OUCH! Sorry you fell. You were not having a good morning at all. I hope it gets better.
That room is gorgeous.

OMG - you had me seriously cracking up over the bug and your 500 shower items that had to be rescued!

Oh my - getting on the wrong bus and doing the tour of SSR. What a PITA. Then finding a bus for FQ only.

But finally queue the Hallelujah chorus because that Royal Room is absolutely fabulous and I enjoyed each and every picture. Just amazing. I especially loved the bug free shower.

Hi Marisssa! I'm finally caught up and I have to say that I thoroughly enjoyed the last 5 updates!! You are adorable!

Sorry, I'll have to go back a ways with my comments. EEEK a huge bug - I'd be terrified as well. I completely understand emptying your bags to make sure nary a critter is hitching a ride to your new resort. It could happen.

Argh! 2 wrong busses. Disney needs to mark the buses better AND not allow CM attitude. Wow! Glad your arrival at POR and finding your room was almost without a hitch. Oops! Sorry about the wet floor. You certainly have a cheery attitude from almost knocking your keister out of whack. Goodness.

Ahhhh what a lovely room. I've seen photos of the Royal rooms and I agree they are fabulous. I haven't seen video of the fireworks in the headboards so thanks for sharing that.

Loved your bonus update with your May plans! Especially since I'll be there then as well.

I hope you and your lovely family had a blessed Christmas!!! Enjoy the rest of your time off during the holiday. (I'm definitely jealous!)

I'm loving your TR!!! I have been absent from the DISBoards for a while now and just recently came back on to start getting my butt geared up for (hopefully) an EARNED/FREE trip to Disney in the near future (either end of 2014, or early 2015 <--if I earn it FREE with my JOB that is...)
ANYWAY... I've been following your report and it's making me giggle, get all teary-eyed and EXCITED.. so thanks!! Can't wait to read MORE.. I'm FINALLY caught up to where you've stopped (The One Where I'm Royal Part 3).

Mallory and I just finished looking at all of your pictures of the ROYAL ROOM! Oh my gosh, it's just perfect! Do you think it's definitely worth paying extra to stay there? We're doing POR in September and a part of me wants to upgrade to these rooms. But then I'm thinking, since we're there while Jake turns 7, it just wouldn't seem right. Gahhh, the problems of planning huh?

The resort looks like the perfect place for like, a month-long trip, haha. It looks so inviting and peaceful! It'd be nice to just take walks around the property each morning or something!

Great update!!! POR is so beautiful! Hopefully I will get to stay there some day Ya know, I have never ate at Casey's! It's definitely going to be a must do on my next trip!! I don't think of you any differently for riding the monorail repeatedly. When I went on my solo trip I think I rode it 3-4 times in a row. it's just so magical and a necessity for any trip!!!!! I can't wait to hear about the rest of your trip! And I'm so excited that you are going back in May! I'm definitely jealous but can't wait to hear all about that trip too.

I don't blame you for taking the monorail around the resort loop twice. It's so fun!

Your mansion is absolutely beautiful. POR was my first on site stay and I have had a special fondness for that resort ever since. It really is one of the best landscaped and most picture perfect resorts. Your pictures are great. And the fountain lights up at night - WOW!

Can you believe I have never had a corn dog? It's on my bucket list but for some reason I never get them. And they look SO good.

Nice pictures from the monorail. Glad you got to wave to your "home".

I never noticed that man in the bathtub. That is too funny.
