I'm bringing my diploma straight to the The Mouse! A June PTR-6/18 TR Link!!

LOVE the list, Lauren! Fun, thanks for sharing!!!! This is great idea for my next trip, too. What we HAVE to see, what we can skip and the maybe list. Can't wait to hear all about Epcot!!!:goodvibes

Love your park list with must see attractions! I wish I could get my DH to sit and go through the attractions for each park. I an't even get him to look at the flight times and park plans :headache:. I usually run down the list with the kids and get their must Do's for each park. Thomas says yes to almost everything .

Thanks! I am lucky that DF is very into the planning too...when the trips get only a few months away we talk about it ALL the time. I think I'm kinda like Thomas...I would say yes to everything  , but sadly there just isn't enough time so stuff needs to get cut.

Thanks! I'm glad the idea helpful for ya! I was worried people would think I was a freak for making such detailed lists :rotfl: We don't like to plan down to the minute but figuring it out this way usually gives us a decent plan to follow.

That list is a good idea. You have a lot of my favorites on your favorite list!

Um, Hi DIS twin. I got my Master's in Nursing last May. I left the DAY AFTER graduation to go to Disney to celebrate!!!!!

(Although I got engaged at Disney world too, it was on the grad trip, AFTER graduation, not before... but close enough!)

I love Tutto Italia. We ate there in August and are going again for our Honeymoon....

While I like all those ride at MK except the Dumbo or Tea Party rides (I can't get spin too long.), I would like to make a small suggestion. You might or might not heard about it. It's the Key to the Kingdom Tour. The tour last between 4 to 5 hours. You get to see how most of the magic work from behind the scene. I think the tour cost some where between $70 to $90 per person. IMO, it's well worth the money. Lunch is also provided and you get a special pin in the end to prove you took the tour.

I did it at 2005 and wonder why I didn't do it sooner.

Thanks! I have a lot of favorites I tried to make the list smaller but I just couldn't!

We always ride the train all the way around when we first get there! :thumbsup2

I love all the cute little details like the Pocohantas part. We only road from Frontierland to Toontown square this time and it wasn't enough for me!

Omg that is so funny! We are totally Dis twins that is so crazy!! And now we have our semi-twin weddings too. Forget the DFs Caitlin I think we are soulmates ;)

What did you order at Tutto I wanna hear what is good!

That is such a great idea! I have been trying to think of something special to do on this trip that wasn't too expensive and that sounds like so much fun. Did you and your DW do it on your trip? If so, I hope it's in your TR I'd love to hear more about it! Thanks for the suggestion :)

No, my DW and I didn't do the tour this trip. You can only do it once and no more. ;)

I would love to tell you about the tour. However, I have already sworn to the Disney secretcey not to mention any thing what's in the tour or I will forever ban from going back to MK. Therefore, you will have to take the tour to find out about it yourself. Trust me on this one. You do not want any one to tell you what the tour is about. You must get the full experience without any prior knowledge. I guarantee you it worth every minute, at least to me.

Your MK plans look great, Miss Lauren! Philharmagic is one of my favorites at MK because it has soooo many great characters. When I was there last time I was determined that it was going to be my last ride before we left WDW (other than the ME back to the airport!) just because it was a great send off!

 Well I definitely don't want to be the reason you get banned from MK! Wow I am now seriously intruiged! Do you know how far in advance you can book it? It sounds so great, I'm definitely looking into it.

I always wish that I thought more about my last ride...we always just run out of time and jump on something quick before we leave but it is such a good idea to pick one of your favorites as a send off! Hmmm now I have to figure out which one to choose! Philharmagic is the best, I love that apple pie-ish (haha i just made up a word!) smell they pump into the theater during the beauty and the beast part!!

I really like your ride / attraction list! That's not a bad idea at all - then you don't "waste" time doing those things you aren't wild about, and spend more time on the ones you really like!

I smiled to myself when you talked about your DF and some of the motion rides. My brother was the same way on our trip - he loves the roller coasters, loves ToT, etc - but we thought he was going to lose it after the Teacups! We promised not to do that one again. :rolleyes1

I always sing along with Pocohantas.

You HAVE to ride all the way around. Starting at Main Street..when you are almost to the Frontierland station, you go through this part where you can see the ending of Splash Mountain! Aw...I miss it right now! I love hearing the train. Definately makes me feel like we're at WDW. :lovestruc

Thank you so much!!! I'm so flattered that mine is the first PTR you've read from the start. I hope it lives up to your expectations! You should start one eventually too!

I am full of pointers and so our my wonderful disfriends as you can see lol so you came to the right place. Dining plan is awesome you should definitely do it! I've always wanted to stay at CBR, it looks so pretty. I have also always wanted to go in the fall, I never have before. Thanks for reading

I really want to do a PTR and eventually a TR, but the problem is since I'm doing all of the crazy planning now, I want to start it NOW! I honestly don't know how I'm going to wait until November!

I am totally addicted to this site. I haven't had a real disney vacation since I was 7 (although, I spent one day there a couple of years ago.) So, I'm really glad I found this site, because if I hadn't, I really wouldn't know what to expect! But, this site is costing me $$$. We were originally booked at POP, but then this site persuaded me to switch to CBR. We were orignally just going to eat smaller meals and eat in the room alot - now we're going to do the dining plan! Just, the BF doesn't want to eat a TS meal each day, I just have to find a way to tell him, "too bad!"

The only places we've decided on is he wants to do the HDDR and I want to do CRT (although I'll be 25, the one thing I've learned is age does not count in Disney World!) I also think I want to do Chef Mickey's, Ohana and Coral Reef (I LOVE seafood and my BF LOVES aquariams).

Thanks! There is just so much to do especially in MK since it's my favorite so it's good to have a plan :thumbsup2 I hate feeling like I'm wasting my time.

That is so funny about your brother! DF is the exact same way, he can do roller coasters ten times in a row, but spin around once in a tea cup and he needs to go lay down for the afternoon :rotfl: We have a Six Flags right near our house, and the first time we went there together I thought he was done for the day after I made him ride them with me, so never again!!

I always sing along with Pocohantas.

I love peeking into Splash during that part!! During our Jan. 08 trip we rode the train to Frontierland when SM was being refurbed, and they had this ugly tarp blocking the view and it was so sad!! Glad I'm not the only one who sings along ;)

You should go for it and start the PTR now! If you are working on the planning it is the perfect time to do it! It helps pass the time until your trip and everyone gives you tips and feedback and stuff :goodvibes

I am definitely addicted to these boards myself. I hope you like CBR, it looks so nice! You will love the dining plan, and I'm sure the BF will too as soon as he is down there and enjoying all the great food! Your ideas for places to eat so far look great. You are never too old for CRT! And Chef Mickey's is really fun and so is HDDR. I haven't done Ohana, but we will be trying Coral Reef for the first time in June because we love aquariums too :)

Good luck with all your planning!!

I just got some very exciting news!!

Those of you who read the TR from my last trip have heard about my DS. I can't remember if I mentioned this, but she is a hospitality and tourism major in her second year of college and it has been her dream for a couple years now to do the Disney College Program.

Well, I didn't want to mention it, because I didn't want to jinx anything, but she applied last month and had her interview a couple of weeks ago. We've been waiting since then for her letter to come to see if she got in, and she just called to tell me that it came today and she got accepted!!!! :cheer2:

I am so happy for her! Having a family member as a CM is only going to feed my obsession  She has experience working in restaurants, so they hired her as quick service dining, which is not her first choice but she is just too happy to care! She'll be moving down there from Aug.-Dec.

This also means possibly some extra trips to Disney for me. :cloud9: My parents will be moving her in and they have decided to go down and visit for a long weekend in October/November, then spend a week in December when it's time to move her home. I'm definitely thinking of joining them at least for the long weekend in October, depending on when I can get time off and saving for the wedding, etc. We'll see but cross those fingers for me!

I know this is off topic but just wanted to share

That is SO COOL!!!!!!!!! Wish I knew about that program years ago, it sounds so much fun!!:cool1: Yay for your DS and yay for you for possibly going on another trip this year!!!:woohoo: Thanks for sharing!!!!

AHHH!! That is sooo exciting! I think it would be so fun to work at Disney for a while. You'll have to let me know if she is still there when we go in December, and I can stop by where ever she is working and see her! Also, fingers crossed that you can make it out to see her a few times!!

Also - To: HoneyLSU - I definitely think you should start your PTR. I started mine a few weeks ago, and our trip isn't until December! Having this great group to talk through plans with and countdown with makes the time, well, not go faster, but it is certainly a lot more fun, and eases some of the craze of planning!! :)
