Yay, i just got off the phone with WDW and I'm now the proud owner of an annual pass:woohoo: I am so excited! NowI can get discounts on my princess/pirate tickets, my MVMCP tickets and hopefully my room bookings too, mustn't forget Disney Dining Experience either, think this is gonna work out much better value than the dining plan for me

:dance3: :dance3: :dance3:

Nice one Claire:thumbsup2 My AP has just about paid for itself this trip:yay:

Our AP have been brillant and saved us tons

:cheer2: For AP's :cheer2:

They are great aren't they, especially with the DDE card and other discounts :)

Claire ;)

Good for you, Claire. Now all you have to do is crack the code for logging on to the Passholder section of the website using your Exchange Certificate. :confused3  :sad2:

If you don't mind me asking how much is the AP?

Stated price is $434, but with tax its actually $462. This is the regular annual pass, for waters parks and Pleasure Island add on its more to make it a premium annual pass.

It's just a little bit of paper but it feels sooooooo good!

We'll be getting our second trip on our AP next week (actually my 3rd, but who's counting !)

Hi

Well done Claire I was thinking the other day it might be worth me buying an annual pass. What exactly is DDE I have heard of it, but not really sure what it is. Is it discounts on resturants?

When ours run out we will have had 53 days in Orlando since we bought them.
So we have had value out of them:cool1:
Don't stay or eat onsite to get discounts but its great to be able to come and go when you want and get free parking.
Only cost us about £50 each more than a 14 day Ultimate ticket:thumbsup2

Hi michelle,
The DDE is the Disney Dining Experience card that entitles the holder and their guests 20% off their food and drink bill at restaurants and lounges all over WDW, not all of them but an awful lot, in fact all my ADRs are covered by this little card. The only way to get one is to be a Florida resident or an AP holder, and I can buy it for the bargain price of $65! Think it will be a great investment:goodvibes

Does the annual pass start the first day you enter the park? Or when you receive your paperwork? When we bought our last ones back in 96, we had have a photo taken.

The annual pass will become activated when you exchange the voucher at guest relations at a park or Downtown Disney, so I can buy the paperwork now, but my AP won't start ticking till August 23rd, which is when i plan to hit a park:goodvibes

Oh wow thats great. Love the idea. :thumbsup2
