HI!!!!HI!!!!
Wow, you people are nice! I'm going to hang out here for a while. A little bit about myself - I just celebrated my 59th birthday at House of Blues. I'm a photographer/Photoshopper and I live 20 minutes away from the Main Gate at WDW. My DD & DS are grown up now & live in Atlanta (so does my ex). I love animals & have an Australian Shepherd named Cowboy.

Happy belated birthday!
I would LOVE to live that close to WDW![]()
Hi Karen!
I love animals too! Australian Shepherds are so beautifulDo you also have horses?
What a lovely horse in your avatar! Do you have dog pics too? I am more of a cat person than dog person, but my husband is a dog guy.
Chevy thanks you - she's the queen bee of the bunch & likes to boss everyone around. Here's a picture of Cowboy.

Did you go to HoB to see a band/act or simply for dinner? I enjoy HoB, but haven't been for years. When Disney closed down Adventurer's Club and Comedy Warehouse, we began our boycott of DD. It is a shame since I liked HoB's jambalaya (although it is a bit tame for my tastes), but I can make it at home and the bus ride/cab fare to DD is no longer worth it to us.
Nice to have you along with us.![]()
Thank you! I'm still getting used to it.
I used to have 6 horses but they all have new families now. When I need a horse fix I volunteer or take a trail ride.
Thank you, I went for dinner but it was freezing & so windy we didn't stay long. I'm so sorry I missed the Adventurer's Club & the Comedy Club. Everyone tells me how great they were. Maybe the new Hyperion Wharf will have something interesting.

How about Jelly Rolls or the dance club at Boardwalk...? I haven't been to either one yet.
Karen
The Atlantic Dance can be fun as well.We love Jelly Rolls, but it is pricey--pricier than most Disney venues. I believe the cover charge is $10 per person and then you have to add drinks into the mix.The Atlantic Dance can be fun as well.
The only problem with Boardwalk is transportation. If you are staying at an EPCOT resort, no problem. A little trickier when you are at a monorail resort unless you depart while the buses are still running to MK. We've always taxied back to the monorail area because it was just easier. Again, it adds an expense to the outing.
Jelly Rolls is worth a visit.![]()
Thanks, I'll have to check it out. I wonder if they'll let me park over there just to have dinner or go to the club.

:I found this and I'm just checking in. I"m usually a lurker on many boards. But now that I'm on vacation this week, I am posting everywhere!!! Add me to the wanderer club!
Bring on the NEW YEAR!!
