I don't even bother will a garage sale anymore. Freecycle or Goodwill! We get those trucks that come by on certain days so if I am really organized I just put it out on the driveway. GONE!

My housekeeping standard is "as long as Family Services can't find a reason to remove my children then it is fine"! Dust and clutter are my problems. But the dishes are done in a timely manner, kitchen has been wiped down, the bathrooms aren't moldy (most of the time! ), and you can actually see most of my floors and the furniture. Well except for the chair we dump the clean laundry on. And my scrapbooking area which is a complete disaster right now-- there is a desk and chair under there somewhere.

I would rather eat less of the real thing and enjoy it than to have a full serving of a so-so tasting light version.

Yes! DH had a heart attack early this year, so we have to eat light of some things, but mostly I just use less of the real thing. I don't cook with very much fat anyway but cheese is our big issue. Neither of us can stand low fat cheese so we just use a little.

Mmmm.. cheese! I am totally into cheese right now. All types! I think that in the fridge right now I have 7 types of cheeses. That's only because I finished off our (my) jarlesberg this morning.

I'm a student aide at a high school, and last year I had the pleasure of listening to a female senior go on and on about how her mother helped her and her friends pick up and drive a house full of furniture to set up in the junior parking lot (during homecoming). Then mom sat in her truck all night to make sure the stuff wasn't touched!

I hope the kids around here don't ever hear about that. I know I would really have to pass on that one because that's to much work. Just hearing that though, it kind of reminds me of that movie Juno, where she took the chair, rug and a few other things to that boys house and set it up out front.

If it's any consolation, our flip-side is generally brutal!

We were in the 70s into December one year, then we got hit with the snowiest, wettest, iciest winter we'd seen in a while!

Bad day. Been having trouble sleeping and last night was bad. Had a dr appt at 11:15 and got up with enough time to get ready. Coffee maker wouldn't work. I didn't have the energy to mess with it so just stopped at Chik-fil-a and got coffee and nuggets.

Get to the dr office at 11 and they inform me that my appointment was at 10:15. Um, I don't think so! I wrote the time on my calendar while I was on the phone making the appointment. She offered me several choices of times when I was making it including 10:15 and 11:15-- I told her I wanted the 11:15 and wrote it on the calendar. She must have accidentally put me in the 10:15 slot when she entered it. But of course, they didn't believe me and made sure I realized that they were doing me a HUGE favor by going ahead and working me in. I don't like this office anyway so I think this is the sign I need to move on.

Then I had to go to Walmart after-- 'nuff said.

Going to just do nothing for the rest of the day. Seems like one of those days where the less I tempt fate, the better!

Aw, sorry you're having a bad day.

I've been terrible unproductive today. DS goes to preschool on T, W, Th and more and more I just use that time to run errands and catch up on my dvr (you know, the shows I can't watch while children are in the room ).

Today I did run to a nearby store called U.S. Toy to get some silly bandz for Tinkerbell presents while we are at Disney. BTW, 10 MORE DAYS!!!! Tomorrow we do the single digit dance!!!

I wanted to leave the house neat and clean but I'm sort of procrastinating bc if I do it all this week, I know I'll have to redo it all next week! I'll just scurry around next Thursday and do it all so it can stay nice while we're gone! (Yeah, that's the ticket...)

Anywho, the weather is too pretty to let the kids stay here watching Zooboomafoo, so I'm about to run them out into the backyard. Later!

The same dr office just called to discuss a follow up thing and apparently they have been trying to reach me all day but had the WRONG phone number-- WHY??? because it was in the computer wrong. She finally went and looked at the chart. And guess what? She made it sound like it was MY FAULT it was wrong in their system.

I'd go take a nap but that will just make it even more impossible to sleep tonight.

Wish I had some Zooboomafoo DVD's-- I could use a visit to Zaaaa-boooo-land (we love the way he says that!)

Maybe it's time to switch offices or make a complaint to the Dr. That's horrible that they treated you that way twice in one day

I haven't done the first thing today that I needed to because DH is off. He just messes me up. I did plant some flowers so that is one thing I guess. Well, off to car pool. So happy school is out tomorrow!!

Just wandering through my e-mail notifications and thought I'd say and happy hump day. . .this week is going by rather quickly for me.

Anyone run across any good threads lately? I have to admit, I haven't been perusing much this week.

What does everyone have planned for the weekend? Our high school football team is in the state play-offs. The first regional game is Friday and we are hoping for a win. Both my kids will be home from school this weekend which always makes for a hectic home, but it will be good to hang with them for the weekend. Then there is Saturday college football. . .other than that, not much going on here.
