Ok, so I bragged like crazy about cutting down on sugar. It wasn't easy, but I did it! I have been drinking my coffee sugar-free for several weeks, but I JUST CAN'T get used to the taste!

I am trying to eat more whole foods and not eat too much processed/fake stuff. However, I did pack a Diet Rite drink when we went to NC last week and it tasted SOOOO good! I hardly ever have soda, and when I do it's usually some of DH's diet pepsi (caffiene free). Well, to my recently sugar-free tastebuds, this Diet Rite tasted like REGULAR soda!

So, I crumbled today... ;) I bought a box of Splenda "sugar" packets. I just had two delicious cups of tea, sweetened with Splenda, and I am over the moon! I missed my afternoon cup of tea, but it just wasn't the same without sugar.

Heh heh heh! I can't wait to have some in my coffee tomorrow morning. This has opened up a whole bunch of possibilities for me. I really don't care for the aftertaste that I get from SweetNLow and Equal. I had tried Splenda when it first came out in our area (almost 2 years ago?) but at the time I was still a major sugar junkie and it just didn't satisfy my sweet tooth.

Splenda goes on my list of "YUM" items! ;)

ISn't splenda divine?? Just one word of warning before you go splenda crazy.... it DOES have carbs- make sure you check it on the side oif your an ATkins person. Otherwise- just enjoy!

I agree! :) I hardly ever use sugar in anything, but when I do want some, I am glad to have Splenda packets now!! :):)

Can't stand anything in my coffee except for caffeine. I love Splenda, though. I like it better than sugar I think. How strange that is :)

Lucky for me I like it. It's going to be a part of the rest of my life. Huh, you just wait, they will decide it causes cancer and take it off the market, any day now ;)
