Illuminations Sparkling Dessert Party Solo?

I am going on my first solo trip September 16-19. While I am there I am going to MNSSHP and am thinking about going to the Illuminations Party. I was curious if anyone has gone to the Illuminations Sparkling Dessert Party solo before. Was it awkward or weird going solo? And for that matter, was it worth the money? I have been to Epcot and watch Illuminations tons of times but I was always with friends or family. I was just thinking about trying something new this time. Anyhow, thanks in advance for any feedback you may have for me!
