Illuminations FP+

We have FP+ for the Illuminations priority viewing this Friday (our arrival day ) and I am unclear as to where exactly we should go. Thank you to anyone who can help me out.

It is kind of hard to find.

When walking from Future World to World Showcase,you come to 2 stores when you reach World Showcase Promenade.

The store on the right is Port of Entry.

Go to the right side of Port of Entry.

The "checkpoint" is at the "back corner" of the right side of Port of Entry.

It can lend some perspective on what may or may not be more or less useful.

Just look for this store and go to the "back right-side corner".I know that's confusing!lol

I love the IllumiNations FP+ because I love having a guaranteed spot where I can literally show up at 8:59 PM if I like.

However the location is not as good since they started the IllumiNations Dessert Party.The Party has taken the best part of what was the original FP+ location(see "THE ROPE"-it separates the Party from FP+)

To me,though,it is still worth it.

I guess I've been away too long..... didn't know they started a dessert party at Epcot..... knew about the MK Wishes one. Is this the same type of deal?

We've always picked a spot to sit right where this looks to be happening!

We did Illuminations FP+ and the section was along the lake but we found some high bushes caused some obstructed views, so we didn't find it to be that great of a section. Plus we were in line forever while they tried scanning bands - those handheld devices are slow and often run into snags.

IMO, you can see Illuminations from so many places that it's not really worth the use of a FP+ unless you need to use the third FP+ for something. I think it IS worth it for MSEP and Wishes at MK.

Yes.

Although some would say that the FP+ is more BEHIND of Port of Entry.
