Illuminations cruise May 13th?

I just called to check for availability for a 'specialty cruise' for our trip in May. Seems someone must have cancelled their trip on the "Breathless" for May 13th, because I GOT IT! WOO HOO!

Just want to clarify how the cruises work...specifically with the "Breathless".
Are you booking a BOAT for a time-period and it goes where you want or do each of the boats have it's own specific itinerary that it does nightly? (does that make sense? )

As of now, it's just DH and I. I tried to get my mom and her DH (who live in Fla) to come with us in celebration of Mother's Day and our 1st anniversary...but looks like they're declining. That means we'll probably have space for 5 if anyone's interested.

I'm very excited. Almost excited enough to keep it just the two of us, but I feel that when it comes to WDW, the more the merrier!

That was me!! I thought it was going to be really hard to reserve the Breathless, so I planned to start trying for the very first day our whole party arrives - even though logistically it wasn't the most convenient. I was able to get it for May 13th, but tried again the next day for the 14th because it would work out so much easier, and snagged it again! So I cancelled the first one - glad it worked out for you!

You rented Breathless for the IllumiNations Fireworks. You should check in at Bayside Marina at 8pm, meet your driver (most likely Chad) and depart sometime around 8:15pm. You'll ride around the lakes before parking under the bridge between UK and France to watch the Fireworks at 10pm. After-wards, you may be in for a little treat of zipping around the lakes.

Yep, the boat seats 7 not including the driver, there is a passenger seat next to the driver (1 person), a bench seat directly behind the front seats (3 across) then the rear seat, back behind the engine compartment. This is also a bench seat, and due to the shape of the boat it is narrower than the middle bench seat, but 3 can fit.
Since you are celebrating your anniversary, I would suggest you two sit in the back, it is a little more secluded, and only offer 4 remaining seats.

Ooooohhh I cannot thank you enough. The ONLY thing that would have made it better (and I'm NOT complaining!) is to do this on our ACTUAL anniversary...May 16th. In any case, DH has no clue about it and it's sure to be a great surprise.

There's only two of us but I don't think that 7 is really a realistic number for this vessel.

That's why I decided on the pontoon - it's not as "pretty" (actually, I've never even seen a picture of that one!) but DH and I are quite "Pooh Sized" and wasn't sure we would even fit in the seats... weight aside, we are now able to cruise with 2 other DIS families since we have realistic room for 10. The more the merrier, I say!

I certainly understand wanting the Brethless since you are celebrating your anniversary! Congrats and have a super time!
