Illuminations Cruise Central--SEPTEMBER

Hi jazznms! Welcome to the DIS. I'm glad you decided to join us. Good luck finding a cruise to share.

The Illuminations Cruise Central for October will be posted probably on 6/30 and you may want to post your request there, too just in case you don't find one in September to share.

Good luck with this.

Hello-I've just snagged a reservation for Saturday September 27th!!! There are only three of us (myself-34 and my two nieces-13 and 15), so we have room for seven more people. Our boat will be leaving from the Boardwalk. If anyone is interested, please email me at bruinsbabe06@aol.com.

I just booked today for Sept 13-19th. My husband (31) and I (29) would love to share a cruise with anyone who has room. Hope to hear from someone soon!

Also updated on Page 4 of this thread:

We are full for the 9/17 Illuminations Cruise. If anybody cancels I will make a new post with the additional space avail.

Thanks!

Have a great day!

I have a reservation for the Magic Kingdom cruise on Sunday 9/14, picking up from the Polynesian. Now schedules are not out, so there may not even be fireworks that night, but if there are, would anyone be interested in joining us? There are just the two of us at the moment, so there is plenty of room. We have until 24 hours before to cancel if needed.

I would really like to go on a Magic Kindgom cruise on Sunday, September 14th, if you are willing.
I arrive really early on Saturday morning for two weeks---first week at CSR and 2nd at CBR. I'm sure that I can get myself to the Poly in time for the cruise.
I'm a fifty-something???? WDW fan----second solo trip. Last September was the best and most relaxing vacation that I have ever had. Looking forward to the one this year.

Thanks, Cindy

Great! So far it looks like an adults cruise - we are leaving our daughter at the Neverland Club that night! Now if Disney will cooperate and have fireworks that night! They should be posting the September hours any day now, so we should know for sure pretty soon. Email me at mrshiny@earthlink.net and I'll coordinate off-list.

Hi PugLover!

I'm sending you an email message.

PugLover, I just sent you an email!

We're taking our grandkids, so if there is someone out there that wants to share let me know. Non-smokers only please. We have room for 6 adults or any combo . We are Grandma, Grandpa,Daughter, SIL and two Grandchildren, 3YO and 10 Months. The cost is $120.00 plus 6% tax. Shared by families.

Regards, Rich

Please also PM me with questions

OK - hours for MK were just posted, and there are fireworks on Sunday 9/14. Is anyone still interested? I have a cruise reserved leaving from the Poly. I'd need at least 3 or 4 other folks to make it affordable (total is $120 for the boat). Please email me at mrshiny@earthlink.net if you are seriously interested!

I hope that someone who has one of the four specialty cruises booked on Sept. 18 is a member of this board!

My husband (30) and myself (26) are hoping to get on an 8pm cruise that night, we took one the same night last year on our honeymoon and are wanting to make it a tradition. The cruise was so much more fun than watching from Epcot, and our captain was very informative!

If anyone has any space available, we would love to share the cruise and the cost with you. Email me at MMoore1851@aol.com if you can make room for us!

Thanks!

OK, they fixed the hours and there are indeed no fireworks on 9/14. Oh well!

I have a cruise booked for Monday the 15th. The plan was to do Illuminations and share with clhcpaca and disneyluvers (so far - we may add one more family if the numbers work right).

Mr. Shiny has a boat for Sunday the 14th (which was my first date choice) but he just found out there are no MK fireworks that night...can Mr. Shiny take his boat on Sunday to Illuminations or does he have to do MK? Is it a "You can't get there from here" kind of thing?

Sometimes I need to have a rock dropped on my head, or I just don't get it!

It seems that if I stick with my Monday Illuminations, I'll miss my only chance to see the MK fireworks...and I can see Illuminations every night...or will we be able to see the MK fireworks from Epcot? SO many questions, so little time...

The bodies of water do not connect, as far as I know.

The boat that Mr Shiny reserved for MK fireworks cruises on the lagoon by the Poly, GF, WL and CR...and MK. You see the fireworks from that very large lake. There probably aren't too many Fireworks cruises in September. All the times I have been there in September, there were only MK fireworks on Saturdays. You can take the lagoon cruise any night, just no fireworks.

The Illuminations cruises are on the waterway between Epcot and MGM. And, I was told that the boat then parks under one of the bridges, I think by France, to let its passengers see Illuminations.
