With kids that age I would totally do AofA... it is just SOOOO Disney. I've done split stays which are fun, but do require a bit of planning. You have to plan for time to pack up the room you're leaving, transfer the bags (either via your own car, cab, or Disney bell services), and then allow time to get to whatever park or restaurant you're headed to that day.
In the end there really is no bad choice from what you've listed. The kids will have a great time where ever you stay... we've stayed value to deluxe, in the end my daughter just wants to swim, and have good snacks.
