Il Pochi il Fiero y Blabbermouths...Magical Reunion FINALLY!!!

There was just an article on AOL's news about the "best" jobs to have and Apple was one of them. But I think the only down side was that they don't earn commissions? Not sure I read that correctly.

I've honestly never traveled back east, but I've heard Boston is fascinating, and there's so much history.

I know all about following the boyfriend. That's how Megan ended up in Ohio, and then eventually, Omaha. It worked out rather well, if you ask me! My mom and dad paid a visit to my mom's aunt, who just moved to Omaha...and then had a stroke and is in the hospital in Megan's neighborhood. So being depressed after seeing our sweet little Auntie, they popped in at Megan's for a kiddo-fix! Seeing the boys always makes my folks happy.

Diana, Jared to me is like Alicia to you. Being the only boy, and the baby...made him all the more special. Not that I don't LOVE my girls, I do....but while the girls were gone a lot, activities, sleep-over, etc, boys don't do those kind of things, and he's been my little pal, my travel buddy, and even still goes to dinner with me and shopping.......honestly, my heart is being ripped out. I know....life passages....I'll get used to it eventually.

No commissions, but they just gave 10-30% across the board raises to all the store employees! Not sure what prompted it (suspect is had something to do with Steve Jobs being gone), but their pay was low considering all they had to know. Their employees tend to move on to some really good jobs. Maybe they are trying to cut down on the employee hemorrhage.

I am not really grasping what it will be like not seeing my kiddo when I want to. She is a great travel/hanging out buddy too. I had to have a plan to keep from dwelling on it, thus the RV idea. Kevin likes it too. Did you know they dive in Maine? Yikes.

Already planning a WDW trip for Oct 2013 to include us, Alicia and the BF, and Kevin's oldest granddaughter. Bought a bunch of park passes before the price went up.

Thanks Angie,
I am actually starting to see that this cruise is real. When you book 2 yrs out it doesn't seem like it will ever get here. Now it is like 7 weeks away. Thanks for the tips. Didn't know there were jellyfish on CC. Will have to keep an eye out for them.

Very Cool! I bet you are SOOOO proud of him! Thanks for sharing those awesome pictures Stacey!

You guys are hitting a nerve with me. Alexa turns 12 next week and I see her growing up every day. Want her to stay my little girl forever. I can't imagine the house without her. I know I still have a little more time but she will be a teen next year and then I know it will go by fast. Hopefully Jared will come home as often as he can and take you out to dinner (wait....make that go out to dinner with you) and "hang out" - enjoying every minute of his time with you!

Thank you!!! We're both really excited, even Mr. Grumpy.
I'm even more excited today. I have Silver status with USAirways, and I'd put us in the two seats by the exit row, where the third seat is missing. That's my favorite spot on the plane, and one of the most desirable.
I got an email today that they upgraded FOR FREE us to First Class!!!:cool1:
That way, they can charge more money for the other seats we had.
I'm one of the world's worst antsy-pantsy fliers and for some reason, First Class makes me relax a LOT more. Probably because they keep me busy by feeding me, and bringing drinks. Too bad I don't drink alcohol, that might make it even easier. And besides, it's a morning flight. Hmmm....I might be able to choke down a Mimosa, though. :cutie:

WooHoo on the free upgrade!! :woohoo: I had an awesome US Airways flight from Charlotte to ATL several months back. It was the plane with those HUGE, cushy First Class seats! A HUGE armrest in between you and your seat mate! It was the most relaxing hour I've had in ages!!! :goodvibes Mimosa, Bloody Mary........... morning beverages! :thumbsup2

I'll be in heading to Missouri (9 days at an Army Base) just about the time you're returning from Paradise!!! :rolleyes1

I actually had to log into DIS today which shows how long it's been since I've been on.

Thanks for everyone's updates. it was great catching up.

Sharon and I are still adjusting to not having any kids at home, even though Lisa does not officially leave until 8/24. She is working and living at the gym during the week and comes home on Sunday for the day. It's tough having Matt in Korea which eliminates all opportunity to go and play. FaceTime makes it easier, but it sure would be more fun to just do a bike ride with him.

Sharon has become a cyclist. This morning she did 60 miles. The amazing part is that she woke up at 4:30 am and we were on the road by 5:15. She did not complain about it.

Remember, life is short so skip often!!

We sail Aug 25th. We are leaving from Dunedin (Honeymoon Island) and heading to Port Canaveral that morning. Wanted to grab breakfast at Grills (or somewhere) before we get there.
That would be AWESOME if you hopped on board! We'd love it!
