Il Pochi il Fiero y Blabbermouths...Magical Reunion FINALLY!!!

I actually had to log into DIS today which shows how long it's been since I've been on.

Thanks for everyone's updates. it was great catching up.

Sharon and I are still adjusting to not having any kids at home, even though Lisa does not officially leave until 8/24. She is working and living at the gym during the week and comes home on Sunday for the day. It's tough having Matt in Korea which eliminates all opportunity to go and play. FaceTime makes it easier, but it sure would be more fun to just do a bike ride with him.

Sharon has become a cyclist. This morning she did 60 miles. The amazing part is that she woke up at 4:30 am and we were on the road by 5:15. She did not complain about it.

Remember, life is short so skip often!!

Glad to see you guys are enjoying yourselves! You're right - life's to short. Make the best of it!!!

WE can meet!!!!!
just south of you , we are in land o lakes but can gladly meet at GRILLS!!!!!
are you doing the park and cruise ?????? 6 a day we used it , not bad,
you do really know how to treat CREAMER !!!!!!!!!
not a bad price on your cruise, and a few others,

Jim, congrats to you and Sharon for raising two kids that are independent and ready to take on the world! The downside, of course, is that you will miss them. Glad you are finding new things to do together. Was that ride on the tandem bike?

Stacey, enjoying your trip pictures on FB. Kevin wants badly to go to Belize. I told him if we sell our commercial building, he can go to Belize! Not sure if I will go, still not a diver.

garRy,
Figure we'll be over at Grills around 10-10:30 with creamer in hand! If you have time, stop on by!

Please excuse the cut and paste from FB - but I wanted to share with those of you who aren't on FB and beg your forgiveness for not sharing earlier and like my FB friends - you, too were a valuable part of my team ...I was diagnosed at the same time as Sam and Mary were celebrating their survivor anniversary, I did not want to dampen their joy. The rest of the year we were celebrating graduations, proms, and milestones in the DIS kids' lives. It also took me awhile to get comfortable sharing my story..

In January, what should have been a routine mammogram was the first step in a journey of a few tears and a lot of love and laughter. I am proud to announce, today, Thursday, August 23 – I “GOT ‘R DUN”!!!! I am a Breast Cancer Survivor!!! I did not share my journey publicly on Facebook but I wish I could thank each one of you personally; you were a valuable member of my team. God used each one of your posts, photos, scripture & jokes to speak to my heart when I needed it most. I am forever grateful to my family, Michael Isgren & Maggie Isgren, and my husband, John Isgren You kept me from being a diva – there were things to do, places to go and a cow to feed. John, my knight in shining armor, I know it was hard on you most of all. You couldn’t slay this dragon for me, I had to do it myself. You taught me that bald is beautiful and you gave me the gift of laughter. I love you more and more!

Monica -- That is such happy news!

What a great attitude you have. :thumbsup2

John and your kids deserve a great big hug too! :grouphug:

Congratulations, Breast Cancer Survivor! :woohoo::yay::woohoo: August 23rd is now another very special date for the Blabbermouths datebook! ::yes::

Monica, I've had that same year. Mine started in April, surgery in May. Still recovering, but glad to have that done with. Not thinking of myself as a survivor yet, but hope to get there soon. I didn't tell a lot of people, but the ones that I did have been wonderful and supportive. Kevin has been a rock.

So glad to hear you have come through to the other side, and feeling strong.

Know what I'm going to do now? Go to WDW!

Depending on where he wants to stay in Belize, you should still go. The out islands are SO relaxing, and it sounds like you've earned it!

We spent a week in San Pedro, Ambergris Caye....before Jordan was born. We took the kids back there a few years ago, it's a lot more developed than it was 22 years ago, but with only room for three streets, there's only so much development they can do. Still loved it.

I'm sorry to hear you're going through the same thing as Monica. Reminds me that I'm due for my mammo. I have been sick since we got back from Mexico....not BECAUSE of being there, just sick. But they've done every test they can come up with and the tests say I should be as healthy as a horse. Garry will have to tell me if horses really are that healthy.
Prayers for your own full recovery.....GET 'ER DONE.....like Monica did!

My only very small complaint about our trip to Mexico was the humidity. I've been away from Nebraska for so long, I'd forgotten how miserable that can be.
Otherwise, the resort was beyond awesome....except the food wasn't very good, but that made it easy to drop a few pounds while I was there.....everything else was so far beyond our expectations. :yay:

I'm glad I'll be with my grandsons on that day, but REALLY wish I'd been able to sail with you.
Did your itinerary change? If I'd planned a Western and they changed mine to Key West, PC/WDW and Castaway Cay, I'd be furious!
