Or say "I'll be gone for a couple months", post the following week, then when called on it says "I just meant new threads, I'll still update old ones"My favorites are the ones who announce a grand exit only to return the next day.
I should have put a winky too, I was inferring that his post was the first one because the first 3 posters I was ignoringI'm pretty sure that winky face means it was a joke.
Oh yeah, I did put something in there, LOL. I forgot, ha ha.Pretty sure that the rolling on the floor laughing guy means that that post was a joke (including the implication that every poster above the one quoted is on the poster's ignore list).
I have a friend on FB, I work with him as well. Posts constantly during the height of the Kappernick and kneeling stuff, yelling to boycott the NFL, don't support that crap by supporting those who allow it...My favorites are the ones who announce a grand exit only to return the next day.
Yea. I DM'd someone once because their response in a thread made NO sense. Turned out they had quoted someone I had on ignore. At least now you can see they quoted someone you have on ignore, but can't see the quoted texted (unless you click to read).I find it better to just not engage with those parties. The thing about ignore is that it can make threads very confusing. I accidentally had someone on ignore once and couldn’t following what was being said.
Me too, no desire to block anyone.I don't use the feature and never will.
If I disagree with someone I want to know their opinion. Perhaps they have some facts or insights I don't that when learned will change my opinion.
If I ignore people I reduce my chances to learn and grow.
I hear what you’re saying, but putting someone on ignore doesn’t mean they are other ruining your day either. If reading other people’s opinions (no matter how egregious they might be to you) ruins your day, you need to get some perspective.
Same with the need to announce that you are leaving. Especially when you then don’t leave.

Well, I know no one who responded to this thread has me on ignore (they wouldn't see the thread if they did).Who else wonders now if they are on someone's ignore list and why?
OK, so 2 pages in now - admit it; how many of us have people on their IGNORE list that have responded to this thread?
