I think it all depends on what's important to your family--rides or ambiance. I can't do roller coasters any more so I actually ride more things at Epcot than any of the other parks. I love the different countries in WS. I love the overall ambiance of DHS with the old Hollywood vibe when you first walk in. ToT is my favorite ride in all of WDW. I love the themeing in AK. I know it's almost sacrilegious to say, but MK is my least favorite park. I only do three rides--HM, PotC, and JC. I do like the retro sci-fi feel of Tomorrowland, but the rest of the themeing, while still excellent, doesn't appeal to me as much as the other parks. I looked at the attractions at US and nothing at all appealed to me. All this to say, everyone has varying opinions about what makes each WDW park or theme parks in general special to them. I think the best thing to do is figure out if rides or themeing is most important to your family and let that make your decision.
