If you couldn't ride the Roller Coasters-would you still go?

Certainly!! We cAn no longer ride any but 7DMT and we are on our way home from a 2 week trip. We love the ambiance - 'hate' FP plus

You bet! There's so much more to WDW than the thrill rides/rollercoasters. I'm not a coaster person at all but my 6-year-old daughter loves them so I suck it up and go on them. I managed to avoid them for a full 29 years (exception being BTMRR; I love that one!) before she was tall enough to go on them.

I would, but Disney means different things to different people so I understand why some people wouldn't.

Nope. I wouldn't go. I plan our vacations- so my husband and kids wouldn't go either. If I am miserable, they have to be miserable too. :-)

This last trip we rode only ONE tame roller coaster ride and it threw DHs back out

WE have been going for 25 years and it was sort of sad not riding our favorite rides
And the expense of going to WDW-I am really debating if we will go again!

The only saving part of trip-was the Food &Wine Festival-that we love

so -tell me-would YOU still go if the GOOD rides were 'off limits"??

For sure! I don't consider Disney a big roller coaster park. It's more about the overall experience, magic, atmosphere. The more thrilling rides are fun in their own way, but don't make or break Disney for us.

Oh wow, I'm disappointed to hear that about 7DMT. Do you think it was because of the rocking motion of the cars? I am a little concerned about that. We haven't had a chance to go on it yet as it opened the week after we were there last year. But we have several FP set up for this trip.

Just came back from Disney today and have not been able to ride coasters for years, but wanted to try 7DMT so bad. We rode it twice and it was the 'smoothest' coaster I have ever ridden! Actually, the cars do 'not' rock side to side, but sway in the curves making it less jerky and very smooth - love it!!

I would be sad that I couldn't ride the coasters but we would still go and enjoy ourselves just the same.....After all we would be at Disney and what gets better than that.:D

I like the roller coasters but if that's what I was interested in I'd go to six flags, not disney.

Absolutely without even thinking about it!! Honestly, the tame for everyone type rides out-number the thrill rides, so I would have no problem missing out on the thrill rides. I would still go and not go on a single ride if I had to! There is so much more in wdw than just those rides. And at one time these rollercoasters didn't exist and we visited the parks just fine without them!

I don't think roller coaster are the main draw to WDW, so yes I'd go. In fact, I'm pregnant and can't ride a lot of things... and yet I still renewed my AP! If roller coasters are what you're looking for, there's that other theme park in Orlando that has bigger ones.

I would absolutely still go. We're from PA so Hershey Park is where we go for coasters. Disney is much more than that for us. It's Disney

I'm not sure, the rides are part of the draw for me.
I love everything about disney, but id be sad going an not riding the rides I love.
Now it would be a different story if I'd done them and not liked them.

Yes! There are only about 6 roller coasters (7 if you count Primeval Whirl). Statistically roller coasters are a very small part of Disney World.

Would I go to 6 Flags if I couldn't ride coasters? Heck no!

Absolutely! Now that I have a toddler, I don't ride many headliners anymore because it's not as fun riding solo (without DH), but I still enjoy myself greatly at all the parks!

I'd definitely still go...there is so much more to do at Disney than roller coasters!

I'm a little confused by the OP's question though. OP, are you asking this question for your DH? You didn't mention that there was any reason that YOU couldn't still ride the roller coasters...

DH and I are considering a visit to WDW this year...we're also trying to have a baby. I'm fully prepared to make separate FP+ reservations...I don't want him missing out on things just because I can't do them.
