If You Could Pick When You Would Stop Aging, How Old Would You Be?

Based on health, I would opt for early forties since the arthritis in my fingers started in my mid-forties. Other than that, my health was pretty good through my forties and into my early fifties. In other respects, I like the mental maturity I have now in my sixties.

I'd pick 35. Still looking good and old enough to know something. :cool1:

I'll go with the majority and 35. I would have chosen 40, but marathons started taking a toll on my knees in my late 30s...

I would stay the age I am now. Only, I would want my actual age to say 30 as no one seems to take you seriously when you're 22, it's really annoying and it makes them look like a rude jerk. Old and wise aren't exclusive things.

But physically, I'd like to stay 22.

ETA: I remember hearing something like
When people are 22+, they wish they could still be 21.
... 30+, they wish they could still be 29.
... 40+, they wish they could still be 39.
But then after they get to 50+, they still wish they could stay 39.

I wonder if your answer will change in 20 years...

Looks-wise, I was at my best when I was about 21. I had great hair when I was 21...I was skinny...my nose didn't seem so big and "schnozzy"...

But mentally, I want to keep aging. Well, to some extent. I'm 35 now, and I feel like I'm mentally in a better place with every year that goes by. Hope it continues for many, many more years!

Physically, I'll go with 21. I had a smoking hot body back then.

Mentally, I don't want to stop aging. I'm still learning all the time and I like that. :)

I would pick early 40s. That's old enough to have some wisdom and to feel comfortable in my shoes, but young enough to keep my body in shape and healthy and still have some looks. Honestly, I'd take my 40s over my 20s or 30s any day of the week.

I am with you on that! LOL I am about to be 41 and this has been a great time of my life so I would have to say that I would like to stay around 40-42.

Probably about 30? I'm 20 now and have been mistakened this week for 15 and TWELVE. So maybe by 30 I'll look 20 ;)

I would say now.....43....I feel like mentally I am so much smarter than in my 30's....
but I liked the way my body looked at 25.....as another poster said...smoking hot.
