I'm almost all packed. Right now, toiletries and Disney clothes are packed away. I have a few more things to add right before we leave.

:thumbsup2 Nice. I love packing the final touches. I am excited for you!

too funny!

So I have taken your advice ladies and have been planning like crazy. :smokin: I have the first 7 days planned out. :rotfl2: Everything from restaurants to visiting which parks on what days. I have been very productive.

I guees I'll type it out and we'll see how much it changes in the next 380+ days!!!!

Saturday: Arrive, stay off property for the first night. Eat dinner in DTD at either the T-Rex Cafe or Earl of Sammies.

Sunday: Check into the resort, still don't know which one :rotfl2: MK all day! pixiedust: Lunch at Harbour House, Nate Major's favorite and dinner at maybe 'Ohana or Tony's or somewhere close to MK.

Monday: Possible sleep in a bit as the night before should be EMH for MK. Eat breakfast in the room, Epcot all day, Le Cell for lunch  , and MGM at night for EMH, F!, and a CS for dinner.

Tuesday: Sleep in a bit, breakfast in the room, possible water park today, CS at the water park, back to Epcot for dinner at San Angel or Marrakesh and Illuminations that night. :thumbsup2

Wednesday: AK all day!!! Breakfast in the room, CS for lunch, and maybe dinner at Yak and Yeti or Boma. Tonight is EMH for AK.

Thursday: MK for Rope Drop and morning EMH. We may need a midday swim break so lunch will be at either MK or the hotel. Back to Epcot that night for dinner at Chefs. :woohoo:

Friday: Shuttle Launch!!! I know nothing about it or where to go to see it so I have some research to do :surfweb: I think the launches happen in the morning so if that's the case we'll do MGM after the launch, Sci-Fi OOP for lunch, and then Epcot at night for EMH. My guess is we'll do a CS in WS for dinner. I am wanting to try the Fish Shoppe and the kids LOVE Japanese food so Japan will work for them. :yay:

That's all for now. Terms and conditions subject to change without notice. ;)

Have you read that the dining plan may change? There's supposedly some CS plan and the tip may be back in the regular and deluxe plan. Are you planning on getting the dining plan?

I have read a little on the possible new plan. I would  to see the tip back in the plan. We are planning on doing the regular Dining Plan during at least the first part of the trip, the days listed above. :goodvibes Are you doing the dining plan?

:rotfl2: I just printed out the UG's best and worst days and realized that the pirate: and princess: Party should be held that Friday night 5/15. Hmmmmm, I see changes in my future!

We're doing deluxe dining again. But next year will probably do the regular dining plan since we're planning on staying in a villa. We'll just do breakfast in the room.

I hope the tip gets added back in. It'll make life so much easier.

The counter service plan seems like a waste of $$$. That is if it's even offered here.

:goodvibes What have you planned? Since my last post, I have planned our park days for first 6 days of the trip. :rotfl2:

Eeesh. I'm having a hard time. I think I may move our days. We'll see.

We want to do MVMCP...but the last date is Dec. 19th. We weren't planning on going until the 23rd. What to do? I have to do MVMCP...

Wait until you see my P&PP update in my TR. You must go...you simply must. It was fantabulous.

Also, Boma all the way baybee!

Columbia Harbour House is my favorite as well....

Just as an FYI, Counter Service at MGM is dicey.

I have some Typhoon Lagoon tips for you. I'll wait to you get closer to your trip...Remind me.

Looks good. I've heard good things about the Tusker House Buffet.

We try to get to Chefs every trip. It's a dependable stand by for us.

::yes:: I agree that having the tip made it a lot easier and less expensive. We always left extra if the service warranted it.

The Deluxe plan looks amazing! :thumbsup2 I'd love to try it if I ever did an adults only trip. Where are you looking most forward to eating/trying for the first time?

The CS does look like a waste especially for my family. My kids share as it is so having a CS plan wouldn't work for us or save us any money.

Eeesh. I'm having a hard time. I think I may move our days. We'll see.

You are going to change the days of your trip?

We want to do MVMCP...but the last date is Dec. 19th. We weren't planning on going until the 23rd. What to do? I have to do MVMCP...

:hyper: Goody goody gumdrops!!!! We are thinking of the PP&P instead of a GG. Hopefully your review will decide for us.

Also, Boma all the way baybee!

Really? It looks so funky not that I don't dig funky. Tell me what you love about it.............popcorn::

Columbia Harbour House is my favorite as well....

You and Nate have something in common. I miss the old place that sold tuna sandwiches in Disneyland.

Just as an FYI, Counter Service at MGM is dicey.

::yes:: I agree. We ate at Backlot Express last time and it was just okay. Any suggestions then for CS in or around MGM?

I have some Typhoon Lagoon tips for you. I'll wait to you get closer to your trip...Remind me.

Don't forget to share your Typhoon Lagoon tips with me :rotfl2: TL does make a mean margarita. :teeth:

Looks good. I've heard good things about the Tusker House Buffet.

Cool. I'll have to check it out. Is that a TS?

We try to get to Chefs every trip. It's a dependable stand by for us.

Keith, the lurker, raves about Chefs and he has yet to steer me wrong when it comes to Disney so I am really wanting to try it this year. Is it better or as good as Le Cell?

We were there for the shuttle launch and missed it completely.:headache:

I have done some reading and I read that you can see it fly overhead from MK. They say you can't get anywhere near the launching site and that the traffic is horrible. I'd ahte to waste a half a day and not even get close. :headache:

You are going to change the days of your trip?

Probably...maybe...I don't know what to do. I just have to do MVMCP.

I would move them then. Have you done MVMCP?

NO, this would be a first.

Here's my review in 2 words...worth it.

OMGosh. what don't I love about it.

The food is fantastic. Really...fantastic. Jon...uberpickybutt...loved it. Even he found much to eat.

And the atmosphere...beyond amazing.

And it's at what is fixing to be my home away from home!!! ;)

Okay, I have to read more about it.

I do love me some AKL, from the photos anyway. If the resort/DVC is half as gorgeous as the park itself...............:cloud9: I am so excited for you. :woohoo: If we don't get the OKW GV, I hope we can score the AK GV. The pics of that lobby are unreal. They didn't miss a detail. Jenna loves Boma too so Boma it is. Yak and Yeti doesn't look all that spectacular.

MVMCP starts on the 23rd?

Huh? I don't know when it begins. But, we weren't planning until coming until Dec. 23rd...and the last party is Dec. 19th. Looks fun. Kinda like P&PP...walk-on rides, characters, activities around the parks...AND it snows on main street! :faint: Freakin' snow on main street. And free hot chocolate and cookies. How sweet is that. Jen looooves her some hot chocolate and cookies. :lmao:

Okay, I have to read more about it.

Let me know what you think.

Your review is so thorough! :rotfl2:

P&PP should be up on my TR in the next few weeks. ;)

Hey...when is your trip next year?

::yes:: I agree that having the tip made it a lot easier and less expensive. We always left extra if the service warranted it.

I'm actually really looking forward to trying Chefs de France and San Angel Inn this trip.

The Deluxe Dining plan is great, but it is a lot of food. It is nice to have something that's all inclusive.

I would never do a CS plan. I like the regular dining because you can do TS as well as CS. I could not imagine eating CS for the entire trip. Plus, we love TS because my nephew can sit down, relax, and eat.

I guess the CS plan would be great for people who have no interest in character meals.

:thumbsup2 Okay gotcha. I think I'd move my trip up too then. Plus we were at Disneyland over Christmas Day one year and it was a zoo! :scared: Park hit capacity by 11 am and it was wall to wall people. It was stressful. I don't think it was worth the crowds. The week before will be far less crowded and enjoyable IMHO. Snow on Main St is UNREAL! pixiedust: Seriously, I was bawling like an infant. :cloud9: Even DH was like: Disney knows how to do things right.

Let me know what you think.

Will do. :)

P&PP should be up on my TR in the next few weeks. ;)

You are the queen of the cliffhanger!

Hey...when is your trip next year?

May 9-20ish. We'll arrive the 9th but our first WDW day will be the 10th. :woohoo:

Both those look so good. Jenna says the atmosphere in San Angel is awesome.

Does the Deluxe include the tip still?

I wouldn't do it either. The only benefit I see is that you'd have your meals all paid up front but that's about it.

So, now I'm thinking the 19th-27th. Yes, I know we'll be there on Christmas Day. But, that was my plan. I want to do it...and make it a magical Christmas for Jon and I. But, Christmas Day I think we'll do something else...not MK. Not sure yet though. So what you're saying is...I'm going to cry a lot! :lmao:

May 9-20ish. We'll arrive the 9th but our first WDW day will be the 10th. :woohoo:

Guess what! I think we may be there. :faint: I'm going to take Tera and Kaia with for Kaia's b-day!

You'll love the week leading up to Christmas!!! :thumbsup2 And ::yes:: you are going to cry a lot during the snow and fireworks on Main St. Embrace it. It's indescribably magical! pixiedust: Just thinking about it makes me tear up. :cloud9:

:faint: Are you teasing me? OMGosh!!!!! That would be SO cool!!!! :cool1: You ladies can share in the "drink around the world" with us. My plan is to try one delicious beverage in all the WS countries!

:rotfl2: With us. We don't have to drive. Plus we won't be doing shots or anything. Just leisurely sipping 8 or 9 drinks. :woohoo:

Wow you guys got chatty :rotfl2:

So I have taken your advice ladies and have been planning like crazy. :smokin: I have the first 7 days planned out. :rotfl2: Everything from restaurants to visiting which parks on what days. I have been very productive.

Have you seen the rumoured price though? $50 a day per adult :faint: As all 4 of us are classed as adults we could never ever pay $200 a day for food!!!!

The counter service plan seems like a waste of $$$. That is if it's even offered here.
UK guests have been able to buy it for a few months now for all trips starting in 2009!

I have some Typhoon Lagoon tips for you. I'll wait to you get closer to your trip...Remind me.
J we're going to TL in a few weeks popcorn::

Jenny we missed a shuttle launch last August, it was at 6.30am and it was the night after the Lapu meet :rotfl2:

I'm off to my Dad's till about the 7th August, I may be able to check in a couple of times though, see you soon :wave2:
