I wonder how I am going to find all of the cash to do all I have planned? ;)

I know the feeling I've been making a lot more plans in my little file for the 2009 Extraviganza:cloud9: ...it will be Niamh's birthday two weeks before we go so now that I know what I plan to be doing to celebrate my birthday I've move on to planning hers:surfweb: . The mini trip for this summer may be getting further out of my reach as we need a new bathroom (I have hated the one we have since we moved in six years ago, MINGING doesn't even begin to describe it:scared1: ) and Donny pointed out that we can't do everything :sad2: . Also while I was looking at park passes he cottoned on to the fact that the five day park hopper pass wasn't that much less in price than the 14day Ultimate ticket that we will be buying for the following years trip:scared: (information on a need to know basis and he DID NOT need to know that!!!) So what I'm really needing at this moment in time is a nice wee lottery win...I'm not greedy and looking for millions all I want is enough to go to WDW for five days this summer & stay in a NICE resort with all the trimmings, to be able to fullfill all my 2009 Extraviganza plans and if there's anything left over some home improvements:angel: that's not too much to ask is it?

What do you want to do with the bathroom? Gut the entire thing? I am with you on winning the lottery. Jenna and I were just talking about that a few nights ago; I keep making plans without thinking about the funding. It's funny, the funding seems to fall into place if I make the plans. pirate:

I bet Mexico will rock....

I sure hope so. It's snowing again today and I am really looking forward to getting out of the snow. It's fine for the holidays but bring on the Spring baybee!

Did you get the ticket? :flower3:
Well, as you know, we didn't win. But, the good news is that nobody else did either! So Saturday's jackpot is an estimated $43 million! :woohoo: We could do some serious damage in Disney with $43 mill!! ::yes:: Well, I guess it would be $43 mill less the cost of my divorce.......;) pirate:

That's not too much at all!!:goodvibes If Jenny and I win, we'll be more than happy to share with you!:flower3: Good luck with all of your plans!

pirate: Remeber I'll pay for your divorce. I am going to call you with some Powerball numbers and then do a quick pick one too. We need to win!!!! :cheer2: Nate, Nate Minor, and Hermie can sail off into the sunset after we win! :rotfl2:

You're so kind  offering a poor Disney Obsessive some crumbs from your $43mil table, believe me any crumbs would be much appreciated right now:rotfl: . We need a new bathroom suite and wall & floor tiles, yes basically the works:scared1: (our current nightmare is all gold taps and green, white and gold tiles  VILE!!) so I'm going to bite the bullet and give up my Disney dreamin' for 2008. Being a responsible adult is total pants :scared: , that's why I try not to do that thing very often:hippie: .

So gals what are these wild and expensive plans you're cooking up:surfweb: , go on make me jealous :worship:

But you are still planning WDW in 2009, right? :hyper:

The bathroom does sound a little iffy. Are you guys going to contract it out or do the labor yourselves. I think Donny should don his costume and tackle the bathroom! :rotfl2:

Plans, plans, plans, here are mine:

Feb: Mexico, but you know about that.

March: None, looks like we'll be able to afford more than noodles for dinner this month. ;)

April: Arizona. We had some really good friends just move and since my kids are off track the entire month of April :faint: we are going to drive out for a week.

May: Nada.

June: DH is doing a half ironman in Idaho during the first part so we'll be in Idaho for 3 nights. :woohoo: ;)

Vegas 20-22. Joshua's hip hop class is going to Vegas to compete. I am raising my own little Zac Efron. :dancer:

July: My friend is coming for a week from Canada 'eh and satying with us during the first week.

July 13-17 Yellowstone with Jenna et al. The dates are solid, we are just trying to nail down a place to stay. :thumbsup2

August: Nada.

September: DH and Gabby are going to Wash DC for a week with my FIL.

I am trying to finagle a mini trip to Disneyland with Chloe and Josh while they are away in DC. pirate:

October: Nada.

November: DH and Jenna's DH and various other alcoholics will be trekking to Kansas to hunt poor defensless pheasants.

December: Hanukkah.

Basically the Powerball or lots of foreplay are my only chances at half of the above.

Oh, that sounds like a uh, uh.....nice.... bathroom..... I can see why you need some remodeling!:rotfl:

Jenny has waaaaay more plans cooked up than I do! She'll have to fill you in on those. But we do share two plans. Of course, WDW in May 2009 to which this thread is dedicated.;) And, we will be going to Yellowstone National Park with her family in July.

The other trip I have planned is a quick romantic getaway with my DH in June. Staying in a studio at BWV. However, Jenny and I both agree that I'll have more fun if I leave DH at home & take her instead!:thumbsup2

I guess she beat me to it!:rotfl2:

:rotfl2: ::yes:: I am crazy like that! Your weekend adults only trist is going to be SO much fun. I am truly excited for you guys. I just hope you can stand Nate for that long without the kids as a distraction. Are you guys going to wear matching murses? :lmao:

We're definately getting someone in to fit the bathroom and do the tiling...Niamh has reached that age where she picks words up very quickly and Donny has some very fruity language when he's DIYing:eek: .

You have some fantastic plans in mind...it makes me wonder what the hell I'm doing with my year:confused: . I was toying with the idea of DL Paris for spring break (that is before the bathroom plan came into play) but Donny is not overly fond of the Parisiene staff there (more colourful language:scared1: ) and that trip also came under "Kirsteen we just can't do everything you know!!" as did "What about a wee week in Majorca/the Greek Islands/anywhere hot?". The best offer I'm getting is St Andrews with my DB and his family and my DM & DDad...yes more family holidays WOO HOO contain your excitement and jealousy:rotfl: . And yes before you ask I am looking down the barrell of two weeks in Long Island with Donny's clan...and people wonder why I drink so much.

But Kirsteen remember that to Americans a trip to Majorca, Greece or Scotland would be great :rotfl:

Jenny wow you have so much planned :faint:

:rotfl2: Jo is right, a week in the Greek Islands sounds heavenly and 100x better than Arizona! :rolleyes1 Let's do a DIS swap like wife swap. You think you are crying now...............:lmao: ;)

If you need any bathroom renovations ideas, we designed and built our home and I'd be happy to help. Help design, not build ;)

::yes:: I agree, those vacation destinations sound tons better than mine. We do have a lot planned but not all will come to fruition. Again, I am looking forward to Saturday's Powerball. I'd like to start on collecting my winnings!

:scared: Donny's SUPPOSED TO be looking into getting a reduced rate for the bathroom suite from a sister company of the builders merchants that he works for so hopefully we'll save some £'s there but I really don't think I'm going to get a wee week somewhere hot for spring break...not that I've stopped looking for bargins on the web:rolleyes1 . We've decided not to travel staff travel when we're going to NY at the summer 'cos we could get bumped off the flight and the whole reason for going is to travel with Donny's mum & dad as the furthest they've ever flown is Luton:scared1: . The price of the flights is :scared: so that's also eating into my holiday cash stash. I think really the best I'm going to get is a week in St Andrews, don't get me wrong it is lovely but as DBro & DDad are probably going to it's a potential TR titled "My Week as a Golf Widow"...I'm sure you know that feeling more than anyone Jo!!!

So I was thinking, if we all do the lottery it means we have Jackpots from both sides of the Atlantic covered...double the chances as it were:woohoo: Remember Jo tonight it's a rollover £8million...how much damage could we do in WDW with that wad:cloud9: ?

I had Chloe choose our lottery numbers for the Powerball tonight. Jenna also got us each a quick pick. I think we've decided if we win, we'll be spending a full month Disney. :dance3: I mean to dream about, even for a split second, bring me much joy! :teeth:

ETA: Chloe got one number right. There is always next week though!

I got a luck pick for last night and we didn't even get one number up:sad2: . I don't know if you've worked this out about me but I'm a bit of a forward planner :rotfl: and I had already mentally spent that money (mental being the operative word here), I WAS going to treat all you guys to a big blow out at WDW no expense spared 'cos hey I could have afforded it I was a millionaire. Oh well as you say Jenny there's alway next week....and the next, and the next.

We are about to book the flights for the summer and it is giving me a panicy feeling that I'm spending £1670 of my squirrel money on flights to NY and not my beloved WDW:scared: . I keep telling myself we're doing a good thing 'cos Donny's parents wouldn't travel on their own....maybe this will be the good deed that tips the balance that cancels out all my naughtyness and gets me into heaven:angel: . Who am I kidding it's def. not worth it and I WANT TO GO TO DISNEY:headache: ....(you can't see me but I am at present lying on the floor having a mega tantrum:rolleyes: )

It's good karma to see Donny's folks but I feel ya; I am going to Mexico in less than 3 weeks and while I am looking forward to it, Disney is always in the back of my mind. :upsidedow I suppose I could google it but what's the dollar equivalent to the pound? I see the fancy little "L" but don't know how much it is. I think we both need all of the good deeds we can muster for all of the naughtyness we find ourselves in. :rotfl2: Have you been to NY? NYC is really fabulous; dirty, busy, and fabulous! I have been once and loved it. I believe his parents live on Long Island, right?

I ordered my bathing suit for Mexico from Victoria's Secret. I hated to spend that much money on something I look horrible in but what can ya do? I at least have to try. The cheapie suits from Target don't give me the um, support I need. ;) I am sure than any men who are reading have just logged off. :lmao:

It's actually Donny's Bro and his wife and kids who've relocated to Long Island. We're going on a trip with Donnys parents to visit them as the furthest Donnys folks have travelled in the past is London so they're a bit freaked out at the prospect. Donny's Bro is taking a week off while we're all there and I think they've made loads of plans for when we come over. I've been to NYC a couple of times before but Donny and the girls haven't so they're really excited (I know I'm being a brat:rolleyes1 ) It'll be my birthday while I'm out there so I might have to see if any of my cabin crew friends are doing a NY trip and we could meet up and PARTY:cool1: , I've found a restaurant on the web that is all Drag queens serving and providing entertainment that sounds pretty cool. Okay, I admit, I have done some tentative holiday planning:surfweb: , I think you call it giving in to the inevitable (this must be how it feels to be Donny, eh?:rotfl: ).

The cheapest flights we can get are approx. $3320 for the four of us :scared1: with Delta direct out of Edinburgh. I've never travelled with Delta so I'm not sure how good they are but at least it means we dont need to connect in Heathrow which is Satan's own land:scared: .

I would so love to go to Mexico, it looks heavenly:cloud9: , but I have to admit I'm pretty sure I wouldn't fit into a Victoria's Secret bikini:eek:

I live about 2 to 2-1/2 hours from NYC...........

Just saying.:rotfl2:
