I voted KISS because i think they would be a better fit commercialy. However, I would personally prefer Boston. Problem is, they could never do it since Brad Delp is no longer alive. Cool the Engines would be the perfect song to start with with the rocket launch.

Given the limited list presented, which is sorely lacking a whole bunch of better bands, I'd have to go Stones. I do love the suggestion of Queen someone made though...what a concept that would be!

I'd be about as enthused over a Bon Jovi coaster as I would be a Jonas Bros. one. Probably heresy here since I clearly stumbled upon the "Jon Bon Jovi is the cutest guy ever!" fan club but I really don't think the band has any remarkable talent. They were a flash in the pan back in the 80's and that's about it.

If there is retheming of the coaster to be done, it should be someone with some serious longevity that would appeal to a multitude of generations.

I recall hearing the the Rolling Stones and U2 were originally approached with the sponsorship of RnR; they either declined or their asking price was too high. It's a vague memory but I think Aerosmith was Disney's most affordable choice.

I hardly consider Miley or the Jonas Bros. rock music. I can't name a single Bon Jovi tune.

Are you kidding??? What year were you born? Even my teen aged daughters love Bon Jovi...in fact we are going to see him next weekend at Gillette Stadium. How about Livin on a Prayer?? Dead or Alive? Runaway? Misunderstood? oh...gosh...he has soooo many hits. Yikes....and I thought everyone knew Bon Jovi tunes.

I am not expecting everyone to agree with me by any means. I just think that it would be a great choice if Aerosmith were replaced. I still like Aerosmith too!!

LOL! That would be cool...I admit...but probably not "Disney like" I don't see Ozzy's image fitting in with anything Disney! But...a fun idea for sure!

Queen, Boston, U2...all fun suggestions! Still, I prefer Bon Jovi. I disagree with the posters who think they are going country...NO WAY! They did one country album to show they're diverse, however, JBJ has no intention of pursuing a career in Country Music. Bon Jovi absolutely has longetivity...20+ years and still selling out football stadiums! and...to the poster that thinks he is feminine looking...I'm guesing you are a...man?? He is far from feminine! I say all of this without trying to insult anyone...just having fun..thats all!

Do you think the selection would be limited to American bands? If not, I'd rather see Def Leppard than VH, U2, Bon Jovi or the like. ACDC would be cool. Yes I know U2 is Irish before anyone kills me. I'm still sticking with OZZY as the best bet.

I think Van Halen would be the best choice but I agree with an earlier post that claimed it would be too hard to do the video intro and to choose between Dave or Sammy songs. The VH boys are always feuding with each other. I do think they should stick with an American band but please...no Bon Jovi. No offense to those who like them (my wife is a fan), there are just so many better options IMO.

If people are voting for American bands then I vote for Kiss or Metallica. I think Kiss would be a great addition because they are loud, colorful and just plain funny. Plus, given the ride only has a couple song selections, it would fit.

Also if they were to contemplate Van Halen, it should be Van Halen and not Van Hagar.

Bon Jovi is not rock n roll imho. They are a pop top 40 band.

I'm always amazed when what was intended to be a fun thread/poll ends up getting rude responses & insults. If you don't like the options, don't vote. Obviously, many of the people responding & voting are Bon Jovi fans. If you aren't, that's cool. There's no reason to insult a band that is obviously very popular. If you don't like their music, change the station when they come on. If you don't like the response to the original poll, move along to another thread. Don't be a hater.

Metallica... I think that they'd be a bit too hard rock for many though.

I like Bon Jovi but don't think that they would fit well on this ride. They are just a bit too soft rock IMO and I think that an edgier sound is needed for a coaster.
