If renting points how about passes?

Whats the best way to get our park passes. I would like LOS but , I am not clear from the boards if by renting points I can take advantage of getting the LOS discount. WHat do other people do when your renting points??? thanks

Unless you are a DVC member, you are not eligable for the discount on the LOS pass.

Using rented points you can not get the DVC discount on the LOS passes. You can STILL buy them though at checkin.

That the offical story, BUT when I rented points back in Jan (before I became a member) when I purchased the passes the CM gave me the discount. I didn't realize until later becuse I just put them aginst the card I gave for the room charges.

I am sure this doesn't really clear it up much for you
