How hard would it be to get 7 month window reservations for the end of May and perhaps even early June?

Thanks in advance... :)

Well, don't count on it...though in all likelyhood you'll be able to get them fairly easily. OKW is a large resort, and people change ressies all the time - so even it you do have to waitlist - you odds are good. I don't always use my 11-month window (except for Christmastime) and haven't had any problems getting ressies.

It seems to be the concensus that OKW is the easiest to get at the 7 month window or even shorter notice because it is the largest resort. But if you really want to stay there the most, I would look for a resale there( I've read your previous posts), because they have the least expensive dues. JMHO

Thanks for the replies. I really don't want OKW to be our home resort, just looking ahead at the potential options of staying somewhere else. I really think I have my heart set on BWV :)

This isn't your exact situation, but it may help...
We joined DVC in April of 2001. We had a trip to the Poly scheduled for May. With less than 2 weeks notice we were able to get a 2 BR at OKW for 9 nights without a problem. I believe our first day there was around May 13th.
HTH.

I own at BWV and have had no difficulties getting a 1 bedroom at OKW for mid-May the past 4 years.

A GV at OKW would be harder than a studio, one, or two bedroom.

Definitely wouldn't need a GV, but one can dream, right??

You would probably have an easy time because this is not a busy time at WDW.
