I can't keep up, but I saw mention of Bernards Tours in SXM. Do it. We did it in 2012 and it was great.

If you choose not to do Bernards, I recommend taking a cab (about $8 each way) to Maho Beach and hanging out a Sunset Grill. Check the flight schedules and try to be there for the landings of a couple of the largest planes. There are sites where you can get this info - you can Google them. On a previous cruise we did this from about 11am to 1pm and saw some amazing planes, and the people watching is great. If you don't know about Maho, look it up on YouTube.

But I caution you - if you have kids with you, it is true that topless ladies get free drinks at Sunset Bar and Grill. It is usually the local women who go topless, and they are relatively discreet and sit at the bar, but if you're looking for it, it's there, and your kids may catch a glimpse, so just be prepared to either divert their attention or answer their questions.

And Bernards stops there too, but I think it's just a 30 minute stop and for us, it wasn't during the peak inbound time, so we missed any large jets.

One other note, Orient Beach is the most beautiful beach I have ever seen. If you take the tour, you will really enjoy it!

I did workout #2 in my sparkskirt.

FOR KAREN... I took a selfie in the mirror.. because she yelled at me before!

So there you go. Me. In a Sparkle.

I turned it around and wore it backwards... as ya'll predicted- it looked exactly the same. And I didn't rip anything! :cool1:

I also ran with my work badge in my pocket on the legs to see if it got pushed up. It did not.

Continue to like the skirt and even more so with these adjustments. STill think I'd like to have a 'slim' style.

I agree that you look super cute...but I imagine you look good in most things. I really don't use zipper pocket (did at ToT for my credit card and room key...that way I knew they were safe). So have you ordered #2 yet...
Yay!!!!!!!! :woohoo:

Far too excited by this! :D AND, you will love it even more when you don't have to ever bag-check again b/c your pockets hold everything you need. I wore my slim cut for a run this morning and I like it, I just think I look a bit better in the swing, less boxy. I think you would look supercute in a slimcut though! :thumbsup2

I have no earthly idea what you ladies are saying when you talk in boat-talk though, just consider me clueless!

Clueless with the boat talk, but I am hoping to learn so if I ever get my family on one of those ships...

It's ok. I speak fluent Sparkle Skirt too "slim cut, embellishment, swing cut, peacock" lol

:rotfl2:

Oh good! :lmao: BTW, I have a complete peacock obsession right now! I have Orchid and bought Bordeaux at the PHM Expo! My bank account is not on board with my peacock obsession, however, but eventually... ;)

Oh me, too...I want so much to order one of those...but they are like 4th on my list right now.

Oooh, awesome- I'm going to go read your report!!!

I am not all that concerned about the topless portion- if they see it, they see it...... my middle daughter has filtering problems... she'll make some comment that will be wildly inapporopriate that the topless people will overhear..and that will be how that situation plays out. And then, I'll scrapbook it. Not the topless person... rather a picture of my children's faces with horror on it... and Sarah's quote she made next to that.......
ah, family memories.......... :thumbsup2

I so hope we see the large jets at Maho!! That's why I want to go!!

Off to read your report!!

I have to wait a few weeks for #2. My birthday is coming up in 2 weeks- I'll work it in there.....

And thanks for the compliment... the truth is.. this is the 2nd picture. The first one was closer & my fat rolls were more visable.. so I deleted and stepped back...and took another one! :)

Thank you Susan- your report was hilarious.

I especially laughed out loud in my cubicle and got strange looks when reading the description of the handbag.. err.eh.. iguana, I mean.....

My middle daughter is going to FLIP over those lizards and urchins and stuff... she loves that stuff.

And I hope with all my might, I also get a guide named Sexy, because how fun is that?!?! :)

Don't forget to take a picture of yourself tomorrow! ;) I found a way to wear a tutu AND a Sparkleskirt (yep, ingenious!) I have green, I have beer arm sleeves, I have shamrock socks...not sure how to wear the boa though, I think it will be too scratchy and I'll sweat, even for a 5K, so it would get gross. Maybe I can hand it to a volunteer at the start and make them hold it for me while I run. :lmao:

I have plans to post it on facebook! You do the same.. what are you getting Rey in?

I have a green wig, headbands with clover anteneas (sp?), An Irish Sash, Shamrock legwarmers, some Kiss Me I'm Irish Pins, Some Green sweat arm band things, A beer necklace (that will likely need to come off during the race) & a few more smaller pins. I'm ready!!! :thumbsup2

I forsee any bathroom breaks a little difficult for you with a sparkleskirt and a tutu! :)

Make Rey wear the boa!

I think for sure he's wearing a green Lucky shirt!

Ok, he just told me to tell you that he will NOT wear the boa, but he'll wear a "little genuine ginger haired Irish person around his neck". :rotfl2:

Savannah's going to be bummed that he's wearing Ed Sheeran and she can't! :lmao: I'm crackin' myself up here.

I have a head cold and I'm hacking up a lung, I'm sure that's going to be amazingly fun for tomorrow morning. :rolleyes2

You sound like you have more than me...I might have to go out and get more stuff to wear! I will be the only freaking person dressed up too. We live in such a rural small area, there will likely be around 100 runners and I'll win the costume prize b/c no one else will dress up. I'm fine with that! :p

Hey, Target had an amazingly lot of stuff in the dollar section- what can I say? I went crazy!

:wave2::wave: Hi! I'm Ann and I'm still here....I don't speak running or boat, but I still love your reports!!! ::yes::

Hi Ann. I still speak Scrapbook. Notice I mentioned above capturing my children's look of horror regarding topless beaches and putting it in a scrapbook page!

See, plenty for you to still comment on............. ;)

So, in an effort to quicken my firing process (you know because I plan on taking a long weekend off in the middle of my crazy busy season next year to run a certain race).. I spent the afternoon responsibly researching Run Disney costumes on Pinterest.

In that course I found these three things & felt I must share....

For all us Cupcakers....

My problem in particular....

And because this is the truth.......

Happy Friday. Happy Weekend! :goodvibes

So true! So true! I'm past Pinterest now, I scoured that for hours and now have taken to trying to find yellow tank tops, which are far harder to find than expected?!?!?

One particular cringe-worthy moment was in church on Christmas Eve when the minister was giving her sermon... you know about the birth of Jesus.. and Sarah sighs loudly.. and exclaims... "This is so boring".

Oh my- I wanted to die.........:faint: I couldn't pass her off as someone else's child becasue I was the only adult sitting near her!! :)

At least she wasn't standing in front of the whole church as part of the nativity, dressed as an angel and picking her nose. Yeah--that was my kid....and everyone knew she belonged to us because 5 minutes before she was waving and (not) whispering "hi mom! Hi dad! Hi mom and dad!" Every performance needs comic relief, right? :thumbsup2

Or how about your ds playing air guitar while the angel choir around him is singing Joy to the World? I nearly crawled under my pew...until the next day when everyone was posting video of him doing this on my facebook page, I seriously considered adoption at the moment. UGH, the joys of children...

You ladies had me laughing...someday I am going to get even with my children!

Back to the real world on Monday...no more searching fun Disney stuff for awhile...like work has ever stopped me. :rotfl2: I love all your pinterest finds today! I have a shirt that I had made "I Run for (insert picture of dole whip) and (insert mickey head) trips!" Now I need a cupcake shirt!

I need a shirt like that!!! Love it!

Maybe you can ask for Sexy when you check in for your tour. And - watch that punch! I love SXM - my favorite of all ports.
