If my ticket says...

{using my daughters log in...}We have 3 tickets left with a couple of days on each one. We'd like to just use these for one of us, if the back of the ticket just says "guest" is it actually an adult ticket? We usually go with our two daughters and had these left from previous trips so we're not sure if they were adilt tickets or a childs pass.

We're doing the same thing this trip. DH and I both have 2 days and 1 plus each so I'm using the four days combined and we'll each use the plusses. This saved us the price of 1 adult 4-day PH so definitely use up those days : )

Ahhh, someone noticed. This was changed last year as a result of so many parents complaining that their 10 year old had to buy an "adult" ticket. Many argued that a 10 year old hardly qualifies as an adult.

So Disney changed their ticket policy in 2002. What they did was rename their admission media from "Guest" tickets and "Child" tickets to Guest (10+) and Guest (3-10). But of course they did this without any publicity and without changing the age at which the higher ticket must be used.

If I bought a child ticket 3 years ago for my 9 year-old DD and have days left but she is now 12 will Disney upgrade the ticket to adult? I know they will with APs and such on the year they turn 10 but what about when the ticket is several years old.

Yes they will. Disney does not penalize children for growing up. They will exchange that ticket that you have for an adult one (actually a Guest 10+ one...LOL) at no charge. Your ticket could be 20 years old and as long as whoever is exchanging it was the one that used it when they were the child, they can still do it. They just have to prove how old they were back when the ticket was last used which is no problem.
