I am very excited. We love the Pixar movies. Even DH watchs them when they are on, he doesn't count them as real Disney movies for some reason.
Please tell me you have seen Ratatouille? I just love that movie, a Disney movie that involves food What else could you ask for in a movie?

Oh my goodness that is SO awesome! I'm so jealous! If I had known when we booked our trip that I was taking my final on 5/12 instead of 5/16, we would've been there on the 14th. I hope you have fun and can't wait to see your pictures!!!

I saw you mention about your final dates in your pre-trip report. Last year I booked our trip for the day after finals, knowing that they couldn't give us a test after the posted dates. I was out of CT as soon as those finals were over.

I hope the weekend is as cool as it sounds.

I couldn't believe I got CRT. I have been checking for a week and came across a lunch but the day didn't work for me. I wasn't really planning on actually finding one but it only takes a minute to put in CRT and the different days we had open. I was messing around on the Disney site about to get off and figured I'd give it one last shot for the morning. Put in CRT and 9:25 popped up. I loved the whole experience of eating in the castle but didn't love the dinner food last year. I am so glad we can try breakfast this time. The french toast looks so good!

It does sound pretty cool, although I am worried about the crowds. At least EPCOT has Grey Goose slushies and margaritas to make it a bit easier to take.

I just want to say I am so glad you guys all understand my excitement. DH came home for lunch today and I told him all about Pixar weekend. Didn't care.

I told him Remy would be there and Emile.

He asked who Emile was. When I answered he asked who Remy was We must have seen that movie together about 100 times.

He just didn't get it at all. I was trying to explain that many of the characters aren't out and we are really lucky to be going that weekend.

Since he didn't seem to fully get it I printed out the listing I posted here and posted it on the fridge so he could get a better look



I was talking to Caitlin the other day and I asked her if she would rather be told ahead of time when we go to Disney or if she wants me to just wake her up and say "LET'S GO TO DISNEYWORLD!!!" She said she wants to be surprised. I was thinking of telling her on Easter but now am kind of thinking of just waking her up that Sat morning and telling her to get dressed b/c we are on our way to Disney. DH doesn't care (he also said he doesn't really care if he is awake when I tell her or if we accidently forget to wake hime to go to the airport and he misses the whole trip) but he did say it might be tough since we are going to hand in the offical form to her teacher this week for the time off. I think if I just tell the teacher and principal not to tell Caitlin they won't. If she happens to find out, she finds out.

I've had our suitcases out for awhile. I just told Caitin I was putting all of our summer stuff in there since we don't have much closet space. I doubt she'll notice when they disappear into the trunk.

I saw something about Pixar weekend awhile ago too, but since there wasn't much info I didn't think too much about it.

That would be so cool to take DS. I asked DH if I could take Caitlin for a weekend in Oct. to do the Halloween party and that was a no go.

I am hoping it will be worth it. We have an early breakfast at 'Ohana for 7:40am and then we will head to EPCOT. Star Wars Weekend was packed last year, but it was so much fun we didn't really mind. I am hoping this will be less crowded, but even if it is I don't think I'll mind too much.

29 days (When I count it out on the actual calendar it is 30 so my 29 day ticker must think the way you do)

I told Caitlin about all of the Pixar characters we might see. She got very excited about seeing them.

I couldn't believe a CRT time came up. I had to do a double take and make sure I didn't type in Captain's Grill or something. I had 'Ohana scheduled that morning and couldn't find a replacement day for that but later that night one opened up. It is crazy how ADRs open up during the day. You could check 5 times a day and there will be different things that pop up. Not that I checked 5 times a day or anything

Is your DH going to be able to make it? I keep telling my DH he can stay home if wants but he keeps saying no. He doesn't think I will be able to handle Caitlin for 9 days since she has a bit of an issue following any direction I give her.

I love UP too! I can't want to see them. I was so excited that they were in DHS in the animation building last year and then right before our trip they got replaced with Lotso. I never thought I would be able to see them.

Yep, pretty much all my adrs are either different or on a different day. I think 'Ohana dinner, Akershus, Tutto and Mama Melrose are the only ones I haven't messed with. I looked over my list and can actually say that I am pretty much done searching for adrs. I would like to move one of our dinners to a later time, but I am not too worried about it.

DH says he doesn't want to go but I have given him every opportunity to stay home. A few years ago I took Caitlin to Six Flags for the day without him and he was mad that he missed it. I can't imagine he would really want to miss his daughter being in Disney when she's 6. It won't be the same when we go back in a few years.

I don't think we will make it to any morning EMH, but I will try to make at least one or two evening ones. I am probably going to head to MK for an evening by myself since DH and DD don't really like MK.

Nothing really interesting to report except -

My ticker now says WEEKS! No more months of waiting for me.

I have tons of packing and Disney shopping and organizing to do but somehow I have no days at work in the beginning of May. The days I was asked to work were the two 4-12 shifts the two nights we left so I passed. I head right back to work when we get back thankfully.

Right now I am working April 30th and don't have to be back until May 26 I am trying to leave some things to do otherwise I'll just get bored and blow my diet.



WW Weigh In

Week 3 I skipped this weigh in. I had an awful week and decided at the end of this week to just use the old WW system until our trip. Maybe the new system works but there is too much of a learning curve for me and I don't have the time to be messing around.

Week 4
-1.2 lbs

4 weeks left and about 5 lbs to meet my Disney goal. Since I haven't really been losing more than a lb. a week it will be tough.
