Pixar Weekend AND CRT!?! That sounds spectacular
! I can't believe you're going to be there in five weeks. I can't wait to read your TR!

Diane, the PIXAR weekend sounds awesome. I do have to admit we've not seen a lot of those movies, but I love the guys from Monsters, Inc. And congrats on your CRT ressie.[/QUOTE
I am very excited. We love the Pixar movies. Even DH watchs them when they are on, he doesn't count them as real Disney movies for some reason.
Please tell me you have seen Ratatouille? I just love that movie, a Disney movie that involves foodWhat else could you ask for in a movie?
Oh my goodness that is SO awesome! I'm so jealous! If I had known when we booked our trip that I was taking my final on 5/12 instead of 5/16, we would've been there on the 14th. I hope you have fun and can't wait to see your pictures!!!
I saw you mention about your final dates in your pre-trip report. Last year I booked our trip for the day after finals, knowing that they couldn't give us a test after the posted dates. I was out of CT as soon as those finals were over.
I hope the weekend is as cool as it sounds.

How about you take my place and go to Pixar weekend and I take your place at AKL CL and the Sunrise Safari?
It does sound pretty cool, although I am worried about the crowds. At least EPCOT has Grey Goose slushies and margaritas to make it a bit easier to take.![]()
I just want to say I am so glad you guys all understand my excitement. DH came home for lunch today and I told him all about Pixar weekend. Didn't care.
I told him Remy would be there and Emile.
He asked who Emile was. When I answered he asked who Remy wasWe must have seen that movie together about 100 times.
He just didn't get it at all. I was trying to explain that many of the characters aren't out and we are really lucky to be going that weekend.
Since he didn't seem to fully get it I printed out the listing I posted here and posted it on the fridge so he could get a better look
I was talking to Caitlin the other day and I asked her if she would rather be told ahead of time when we go to Disney or if she wants me to just wake her up and say "LET'S GO TO DISNEYWORLD!!!" She said she wants to be surprised. I was thinking of telling her on Easter but now am kind of thinking of just waking her up that Sat morning and telling her to get dressed b/c we are on our way to Disney. DH doesn't care (he also said he doesn't really care if he is awake when I tell her or if we accidently forget to wake hime to go to the airport and he misses the whole trip) but he did say it might be tough since we are going to hand in the offical form to her teacher this week for the time off. I think if I just tell the teacher and principal not to tell Caitlin they won't. If she happens to find out, she finds out.
Believe me, I am thankful for the Dis at least once a day, usually more than that! I could tell lots of people that I booked a CL room at AKL and they'd have no idea what I'm talking about, or even why this is so unbelievably exciting.Pretty much all of my friends and family don't "get it."
Sorry your husband isn't more enthusiastic. That's tough. My husband doesn't really take part in any of the planning, but he's excited.
I'm not sure how I could keep that a secret from Max. Our house is so small, there's no way I could pack without him knowing.I just noticed that you're under thirty days!

Hooray for getting the CRT ADR!!! I read about the Pixar Weekend on the Flower and Garden Festival website a few months ago, but didn't put it together that you would be there then. I have tried a couple of times to convice DH to let DS2 and I fly down for a quick trip - it hasn't worked. I figure I could entertain DS2 with all of the Cars stuff and then I could see Vern Yip (who is speaking at the F & G Festival that weekend).
Thank you, thank you, thank you for posting about the Pixar weekend!!The 13th is our last day and I totally changed our plans for the day so we can go check it out! My DH is a huge Pixar fan so even he was excited about those characters

The Pixar stuff sounds very cool! Yes, I bet it will be waaaay crowded, but it'll be worth it to give it a try because it's so unique. I would certainly be there first thing, if I could.![]()
My ticker says 29 Days, 17 Hours and 26 minutes! LOL! We are under 30 days!!!
This is the first I have heard of Pixar Weekend, and I am PUMPED!!! Sunday was our Epcot day anyway because we wanted to see the Flower and Garden, so this just fits right along with our plans perfectly!!!
And I am SO JEALOUS that you got a CRT. I have been searching for one for weeks.
I'm with you. I planned, and replanned, and then planned again and I think I finally have all my dining done. I'm still trying to decide how much I'm going to put on a gift card for dining though, I still have some number crunching to do.
This Pixar weekend is looking AMAZING! I am so glad we will get to see it. I guess it is safe to say the day will turn out into a huge character hunt. I am specially excited about the characters from UP. Ithat movie!!

Nope, I asm ashamed to say I have never seen it. A friend is letting us borrow "UP" this weekend which we've not seen and I understand is very good.
Are you sure you weren't talking to my DH?? Because I swear that sounds like it came straight from his mouth!!
Okay evidentally I have missed a whole week and in that time you have changed almost every ADR you had made, you have booked CRT, and are going to the Pixar event at Epcot! Wow! You have been a busy little bee!!
I am so excited for you getting the CRT reservation! I saw the Pixar notice on Facebook and immediately looked to see when but of course nothing special is going on while we are there...well except SWW!
I know this is probably a non-issue but EMHM are awesome! I highly recommend but I understand your dilemma with character meals. I am really glad she decided she wanted the character meals!
