What do I need to bring for I.D. at the airport? I could have sworn that I had to bring my birth certificate. I checked the TSA website and I don't see anything about a birth certificate. It looks like our drivers license is all I need for my dh and I. Is this correct?

You're correct! Drivers License is all you need. Oh, and your ticket. :goodvibes

If you are flying domestically, all you need is your gov't issued picture ID, i.e. Drivers License.

Not unless you are under 2 and flying for free on your DH's lap :lmao:

I'll ask my question in here so a new thread doesn't get started. I guess even with a ticket purchased for my DD 1 she will still need a birth certificate to get through security?

Only if you don't buy a ticket for her, if she will sit on your lap, to prove her eligibility (under age 2). Anyone under 18 who has their own seat does not need ID.

Thanks just wanted to double check.

The birth certificate is only used by the airline to verify the age of the lap child. If you bought a seat for your child, no birth certificate is necessary. You do not need the birth certificate to go through security for your child.
