Ideas on how to make a Little Bo Peep staff?

Anyone have any ideas as I can't find one anywhere. Its for my 5 year olds play. Although she'll probably only be on stage 30 seconds, she needs the staff to complete the costume.

Any ideas on how to make one or where to buy one?

How about using that PVC pipe stuff from hardware stores. I think but I'm not sure you can make it curve at the top with a connecting piece. Put it together and then paint it, and add a bow.

I bet there are costume dept. open now for halloween. You might find one there

Electrical conduit will also work if you have a conduit bender! Then just by some inexpensive ribbon, and wrap it around and tie a big bow.

how abt checking out Pier One or Cost Plus type store, buy a inexpensive lightweight bamboo cane ? You could embelish it with some pretty frilly ribbon right above where she'll hold it & add some silk flowers...
