I am having a Prince & Princess Tea Party at my dance studio on Friday. The activity will be about 1 1/2 hours long. It is not a birthday party.
I have a few ideas but was wondering if anyone had some ideas for additional activities or games - I don't want to run out of things to do with the kids. They will be between the ages of 3-6 years old. There are few boys that are coming as Princes.
When they arrive they'll have coloring pages to color that we will then hang in th "royal gallery".
We will play a musical chairs game that will determine the leader of a "royal parade" we will be having. The person that sits in the chair with the special picture on the bottom of it will be the leader. The chairs are the small white plastic chairs.
We will play a game called "Pass the poison apple", which is similar to hot potato, but I haven't determined how to handle the winning & losing end of it. At this age I don't want to get in to the logistics of you're out of the game because you got stuck with the poisoned apple, so I'm looking for ideas on how to make it more fun & enjoyable for everyone.
We will be reading a Disney story & then we'll be having "tea & crumpets" aka milk & cookies.
I already have crowns & princess wands. I also have princess rings.
All ideas are welcome. Thanks!
