It depends. Are you using a regular park pass (in which case, no) or an Annual pass (in which case, possibl)? Usually you are just subjected to the finger scan (so I guess it's Yes for both; the ultimate ID ).
If you're asking if you need to BRING a legal picture ID with you...
ABSOLUTELY!
Normally you won't need it (they don't "random-check").
BUT, if there is any problem with your ticket (won't scan, gets "eaten" by the scanner, etc.) then you can use your Pic ID to help the CMs know its YOU, and get the problem solved very quickly.

Had this happen to us once and saw it happen on a number of occassions when the finger thingie was just not willing to cooperate. The CM just checked our id and in we went. I can imagine that if we had left our ID in out room that this could end up being a real hassle.
Even when we have had problems with our Biometric scan on our Annual Pass, they have just bypassed it by pressing a few buttons and let us in. We always bring our ID's, just in case!!
