Ibotta is an app that allows you select an offer (usually short tasks) on an item and complete the offer. Once you have completed the offer, a total is seen. The total is how much cash you will earn. The next step is to redeem the offer by shopping. However, the offers do expire and there are only a limited number of stores at which you can redeem. Once you are done with your purchase, snap a pic of your receipt and scan the barcode on the items. Voila, cash earned!
I was recently referred to Ibotta by a friend. She knows that I'm trying to earn money and save it in every way possible. She uses it when she shops and has earned cash. I haven't tried it out yet.
I was wondering if anyone else has used the app? If you have, I would like to know your experience with it. I'm wary on things like this.

Check the bonuses, I've earned most of my money in extras. One thing I found out if you know you will buy a product, make sure you click the buttons for it (for the facebook twitter survey etc.. ) and then when you are ready to buy it will be completed. I didn't do that once with the elmers glue sticks during back to school and when I went to do all that and redeem it, it was gone. So I check everyday and complete the requirements, then I buy when I am ready before the expiration. I think I have $50 now.
