...That Fantasmic! is almost always available as a fourth or subsequent FP, even late afternoon or early evening

...That you can grab anything for a fourth or subsequent FP at a kiosk, THEN control it (change time or experience, subject to availability) in the app

...That once you have entered a FP line, you can go into the system and move one of your later FP earlier, subject to availability, even overlapping with your current window. (For example, you have FP 1 10:00 - 11:00, and FP 2 11:00 - 12:00. Enter FP 1 ride at 10:00, you can immediately go in and move FP 2 to 10:30 - 11:30, if it's available)

...That the 5 minute early and 15 minute late grace periods are built into the system -- Mickey will turn green. This has been confirmed by CMs on the board and in my own experience.

...That it is always worth checking for even high demand FP, as they occasionally pop up as available even the day of.

By "bonus FastPasses, I'm guessing that you mean a 4th or 5th (etc.) FP booked by a guest the day-of.

The term "bonus FastPasses" on this board usually means extra FPs given out to guests by CMs to help compensate for a negative issue of some kind.

So I guess my question is what should you hit? Modify? I have not been able to book or FP yet so I am unfamiliar with the app. I think I need to search it on you tube.

When would I hit cancel? IF we had no intention of using any fp for that park?

Would I use CANCEL if I wanted to say wipe out all our MK fp because we decided to go to Epcot instead?

You have the right idea. Only MODIFY if you just want to change a time or experience (staying in the same park).

And CANCEL if you don't plan to use any, or, as you wrote, to change parks. Of course availability might be limited, but it's worth trying, you will definitely get something.
