We went their for our 8th grade field trip. My 2 friends went to ride it and my science teacher and pe coach was sitting on the other side of where I was sitting.
Science: "Your not gonna go on it with them?"
ME: Heck no.

i went on sheikra[sp?] and it stops you in the air before a drop so you see everything, then you go straight down.

Tomorrow I'm [supposedly] going to Six Flags Great Adventure, AKA SFGA. I told Allison that I was going on Kingda Ka and she's like "I SAY YOU'RE OUT OF YOUR MIND". Thus, SHE MADE A THREAD =].

At first I was discouraged by the ride. It has been known to break down, and yes, the mechanics have seen parts [AKA nuts&&bolts] fly off of the attraction. But they modified it. And as more people go on that coaster and come off fine, I get less discouraged.

And even if some 1 out of 100 chance [knock on wood] that I die on that ride, at least it's doing something I love.

What can I say, I have a need for adrenaline.

I went to Six Flags New England with my family and my cousin and I waited about 15 minutes to get the last car on Superman and she couldn't buckle her seatbelt and thus couldn't ride. I was already in on the side closest to the loading area, so nobody else could get in. I did that ride, without anybody beside me, and loved it. The first drop is amazing, you can't see the track underneath you for about .5 seconds.

Cedar Point built that I believe about a year before Kingda Ka opened. I'm not saying....I'm just saying.

But yeah. I pretty much lost all respect for six flags after that. It's like....OOOO I KNOW! CEDAR POINT HAS THE DRAGSTER.....WE'LL MAKE IT 5 FEET TALLER, 5 MPH FASTER....AND ADD A HILL!!!! NOBODY WILL TELL THAT IT'S THE SAME DAMN RIDE!

Blah, I've never liked Six Flags.
