"I Want To Go Back!!!"....a Sept 2010 PTR(upd 10/12-TR Started!)

2 week dance!:dancer::yay::woohoo::cool1: So excited for you!

Glad Madison had a good first day back at school! :) I remember the planners. We have them in middle school I think. I don't remember using mine too frequently. :rolleyes1

Thanks for dancing with me! Madison is super excited about her planner. It keeps her very organized.

I'll dance with you!

Woo hoo! Thanks!

I'm sad you're done with outfit updates too!

I'm super bummed! I will keep on updated though, so stay tuned!

:confused3I was also wondering about when to do school notes, our trip is a surprise so I'm afraid if I tell the school to early my surprise will be found out

We did a surprise trip in Jan 09. I emailed her teacher about a week or so before we left. I told her teacher it was a big surprise and I asked about getting her work she'd be missing. We arranged to have me pick up her work at the office so she wouldn't suspect anything. It worked out great!

I'll join that 2 week dance!!

Sarah has a planner for the first time this year (4th grade) I'll be curious to see how they use them.

I think you need to watch Lilo and Stitch! Stitch is such a trouble maker - he plays that up at Ohana too!

Thanks for dancing with me!!!

I like that the kids are using planners....that way the parents actually know what homework has been assigned!

I must say, I'm not a huge fan of Stitch. There is something about the trouble maker thing that just turns me off.

I agree about Stitch. When we watched the movie, I just kept thinking, they need to ditch that thing and then they will be fine. But then, there would be no movie.

Hey Meghan,

I just wanted to pop in and say bye for a brief time!! I did not realize I gotten so far behind. I cannot believe how quickly our trips are coming up!! August flew by so quickly.

Of course all your plans and outfits are adorable!! :goodvibes

Your shirts for MNSSHP are so cute!!

Madison looks adorable in her first day school pictures!!

:dancer: Happy two weeks!! :dancer:

I guess you're right. I still have no desire to see it!

Have a fantastic vacation!!! Can't wait to read all about it when you get back.

party: I'll dance with ya for 2 weeks left!!!!party:

Thanks for dancing with me!

Lexi & Levi started using planners in 3rd grade. We like them & I think it helps teach them to be more organized.

Yay for 2 weeks!!!

TIME FOR THE TWO WEEK DANCE!!!

She was also very excited that they have planners this year. They write their assignments in them and parents have to sign them daily. Now, I just have to figure out when to send in the note about vacation!

My kids have had agendas(planners) since Kindergarten. It is always interesting to see how other school districts do things. Capt Jack (who started Grade one this year) is writting in his own agenda now! The scary thing is that we can actually read what he prints! We had problems with Alice and Goofy. Alice had issues with learning to read and thought Goofy caught on to the reading he printing is not readable - even today his printing and writing is bad. With Capt Jack being normal (re: not ADHD) It has been kind of nice seeing him hit the normal kid milestones lol!

Yay for 2 weeks!!!:woohoo:

Your outfits are great as usual!

Thanks! I am now officially less than 2 weeks away!

I love that they are using planners. Madison can be a bit forgetful at times, so it's nice to have everything written down.

13 days!

The planner is going to come in handy for sure. We're pretty busy people and having everything written down is wonderful!

Love Madison's first day of school dress!! She looks adorable-- the shoes are super cute!
Yay for 2 weeks-- well, now it's less! (I've been sooo busy!)

12 more days!!! :woohoo: I am very excited and I still have a lot to do. Today, while Madison is at school, I plan on running some errands and picking up a few items here and there that we need for our trip. Before I post my to-do list, here are the countdown facts from the past few days.

Day 14- Space Mountain launched on January 15, 1975. Do you think you're ready to blast off? (Madison said yes)

Day 13- The Fender Stratocaster guitar outside the Rock N Roller Coaster is 15 times normal size.

Day 12- All of the benches in Disney's Animal Kingdom are made of recycled milk jugs.

Ok, time for my to-do list!

-Pre order photopass
-Order water from Costco (a few days before we arrive)
-Fax in room request (will do this the Friday before we leave)
-Get quarters & pennies for pressed pennies
-$ for Mousekeeping/Server envelopes
-Put Madison's allowance $ into her account (she has her own Debit Card under Tony's name)
-Buy trick or treat bags for MNSSHP
-Buy sinus/allergy meds
-Empty memory cards
-Send in school letter
-Take Madison's measurements for Jasmine costume

Here are things I've recently crossed off my list
-Make LGMH tags
-Put hold on the mail
-Buy postcard stamps
-Order books for plane (I just ordered Mousejunkies, Project Future and a new Sudoku book-love those!)

Here's one of my LGMH's I made the other day

I made a few so I can put them on different bags. Still don't know if I'm going to use my Hipster or VB Backpack!

This is Madison before school today. I love her outfit and I wanted to share it with everyone!

Well, I better get moving!

I love Madison's outfit today too! She is so stylish! I can't believe how close your trip is! eek!

Wow, That list still looks so long! Good luck running your errands and getting stuff done before your trip. I'm sure it's a bit easier now that DD is back to school to run around town.

I'll have to borrow your books for my trip next month! Although, I'm not good at reading on planes. I usually fall right to sleep :)

Madison looks very cute for school today!

I did not know that about the AK benches. Interesting!

I don't know if you know but they do supply trick or treat bags at MNSSHP. Last year the characters from Up were on it.

You can get the LGMH at Home Depot right? I heard that they're free since they're paint chips. Where do you find them? Thanks in advance. I want to get one for myself :)

Wow you still have a few things to get done! You reminded me that I need to figure out what to do about Photopass.

I love Maddie's outfit today. I think I remember you posting that sweater.

12 days!! Aren't you excited?

Love madisons outfit!! That little jacket is tooooo cute!! Tell me about Costco..I always ship water down there.....

Aww, I love Madison's sweater! I wouldn't mind having it, lol.
Wow, lots of things to do. I feel like no matter how well-prepared someone is for a trip, there's always a ton of last minute things to do/buy!
I hope Maddie does decide to go on Space Mountain! It's too fun!
