Love Mickey mail!! I love the old-fashioned looking Mickey in his bellman's outfit.
Yay for being 35 days away! I always end up bringing a sweater or sweatshirt on the plane-- I think it's freezing. Maybe you guys can wear your Mickey tee's but bring a sweatshirt?
The color of your AK top is so pretty-- it'll fit in great with the theming of the park, too (Of course!). I agree with tinkgurl-- I like the denim shorts with Madison's top. The leopard is really cute-- love those colors.

I bring a sweater too (and sometimes a blanket in my carryon). Plus, it's usually chilly at 5am.

Nice Day 1 plans! Very wise not to overcrowd the day, even though you are scheduled to arrive early. We have been delayed before getting in for various weather reasons (Oct storm anyone?) and it really messed with our plans. I try to have a light load on the first day, and if possible, no ADRs. Our DD7 still won't ride EE (though she's unusually obsessed with the Yeti) and DEFINITELY no Dinosaur, so we've never really pushed for Evening EMH at AK. I would love to ride EE after it gets dark, though!

I notice no outfits picked out for your DH...if he's like me its "whatever is on top in the suitcase"!

Thank you! We did the same kind of thing last June (arrived early, went to DTD then to DHS for my birthday dinner at Sci-Fi). It was EMH that night, but we only made it to 9pm that night.

Our DD loves Dinosaur!!!

My DH is exactly like that...he wears whatever is on top of the pile!

Great Day1 plans! Do you think you could call ahead to schedule a DVC tour? I'm just not sure if they'd be able to book you within an hour or so. When we were at DHS in May we stopped at the DVC kiosk and we had to schedule our tour for the next day and we were even staying at SSR!

Love the window decorations. I'll have to remember to bring our window clings if only for DS to see. He loves window clings!

Oh, and I vote jean shorts!

I know! I ordered her a small because in the past when I ordered x-small's they were a bit too small.

Thank you. I will probably call ahead and schedule one when we get a bit closer to departure day. One of the other agents from my agency gave me the name of her DVC rep, so we'll probably schedule something with her. When we were at DTD last June, Madison traded pins with a DVC CM. She told us a van could pick us up right that moment, but we decided not to.

Thanks! Madison loves window clings too. We have some for almost every holiday. She likes to help me hang them in our windows.

Thanks Staci! I happen to like my outfits too (got the idea to post the outfits for each day from your PTR!). That girl's small is definately more like a womens XS. I got a great deal on that shirt from Kohl's. The material is so light and comfy.

By picking out my outfits ahead of time, it makes it much easier in the morning. I usually take forever to pick something out too! I'm very indecisive when it comes to my outfits. My DH likes to freeze me out in the car too.

I know my shorts look white, but they're actually a light khaki (darn flash). I'll make a decision about Maddie's shorts before we leave.

I like our Day One plans too. We won't really feel rushed to do anything. I really want to enjoy that first day.

I've never flown SW, so it will be a new experience for me. I do love those early morning flights! More time in my happy place!!!

I'm glad I could make everyone so happy with my outfit posts. I know I've already said it a million times, but I really love my AK shirt!!! The material is the softest I've ever felt. Another vote for the denim....that is quite the popular choice.

I can't believe how fast this trip is coming up!!! That's part of the reason I decided to start posting our plans. I know that if I put if off too long, I'll start feeling rushed. I hope to post every few days or so with our plans (gotta stretch it out just a little). Madison starts school on Sept 7th and I know things are going to get busier around here. Then, dance starts the week after that, I have to learn the try-out dance for the dance team (I got asked to help teach it at tryouts!!!)...oh yeah....PACK! But, as most of you know, I don't pack until the day before we leave.

Thanks Shawna! Ok, one more vote for the black shorts...I think the total for black is up to 3. We're bringing both pairs of shorts no matter what. If she doesn't wear one on day one, she will most definately wear them later in the week.

Madison will be wearing her black mary jane crocs all week (she lives in those things). I must say, I'm leaning towards the jean shorts, but I could change my mind by Sept.

Thanks for the tip! I've heard the the safari doesn't run during EMH, so maybe we'll try to get on the last one of the day. That would be neat!
