Hi! Thanks!! No, we went to DOI in Boston this time around. It was a great show!! It was here 12/26-29, which show did you guys see in September was it the 100 years of magic, too?

I'm sorry to hear you guys have been sick still too....hope you're all better soon!!!!

Enchanted Village is at Jordan's furniture in Avon, MA. It's the old Jordan Marsh display Christmas village from the 50's....so neat! It was fun and holiday like, we also so a holiday light show they had too, which the kids loved! It's there through January, not sure how far you are from there, but look into it...the village is free and the light show was $3/pp, plus they have the Polar Express 4D show for 40" or taller there, too!!! It's a nice afternoon out!!

Wow, I can't remember if it was 100 years of Magic We went two years in a row in Sept and one of those was 100 years but for the life of me I just can't remember.

We will have to keep the Enchanted Village on our list for next year. It looks like an awesome place to go.

Is it tough having a Christmas baby? Poor DS1 just turned 2 and his birthday is a few days later 12/28 and I feel so bad that his bday is so close to Christmas,since everyone else's bday is in the spring or summer.

Hey!! Isn't DOI the greatest? I go every time its in town!! 100 Years is actually the next one that's coming in March!! I will have to go, it looks great! The one I saw was Worlds of Fantasy!! The only reason I didn't like mine was because the split the entire first half between 3 of my favorites (Cars, Little Mermaid and Lion King) and spent the entire second half of JUST Tinkerbell, and I'm not a fan of her own movies really. I like Peter Pan just fine!! But that's my biased opinion!!

I hope you're family stays healthy this year!! Hopefully that's all behind you now!!

WOW! What a cute Mickey snowman!! We don't see much snow here in Memphis but it's supposed to snow on Wed/Thurs--I'll believe it when I see it!! And DOI looks wonderful! They do such a great job on those shows--we saw Worlds of Fantasy in September--incredible!! Glad you are feeling better!

I know we have been chatting on FB for a while and I have heard each one of the illnesses to float through your doors, but I forgot just how BAD you were! My goodness.... It was one after another! Anyway, you and Jodi look so much alike!!! And you both look like your mom ! Would have loved to see the food at Wave. I think we may eat there next trip. I LOVE Journey w/ Figment, but it is like pulling teeth to get Isabelle to go. LOL! And I so miss Pop! I want to try new places, but Pop was so nice. We stayed at CBR last trip and I wasn't all that impressed. TTFN!!!

You'll love Enchanted Village...,it's fun and the price is right!!! Check it out!! It SO TOUGH having a Christmas baby!! I feel so bad for Lucas!! I went into labor 2 weeks early with him and said as long as I don't have him ON Christmas day, it will be fine, so he has his own day, but nope! Oh well, I had a perfect healthy little boy!! BUT that being said....we missed his party this year cause we were SO sick and people are traveling, so it's tough. And we still haven't come up with a good family plan for his day, like having birthday cake for breakfast on Christmas morning or something , you know? SIGH!! What do you guys do?

I loved DOI! It was so much fun and gave us a Disney fix!!! Loved it and you need to go to 100 years of magic...it's amazing! I'm with you, not sure I would have liked the 2nd part of your show as much with just Tink. I know my boys wouldn't have liked that!! LOL!!

We do look a lot alike, huh? We're definately a combination of my Mom and Dad, but I tend to look more like my Mom for sure.

Oh no! Isabelle doesn't like Figment?!! I'll ride with you next time!! We love Pop too, it's fun!!! Sorry to hear you weren't impressed by CSR, we stayed there WAY back when with our parents, when I was a teenager and like it...but that was 20 years ago now! How did I get old enough to say that!? LOL!!!

Fingers crossed there is no snow that week so you can pull off Noah's party! I hear you, that's what happened last year for Lucas, too, we had a Nor'easter and only my parents could get here, it was unreal! I feel bad for these little guys.....when I was in labor with him the nurses said to have a 1/2 birthday for him....I was SO against it, but then when he was about 3, thought maybe it would be a good idea, so he could have a summer party and everyone could come but then I got pregnant and have Cole 6/27...so there goes that idea, too! LOL!! Poor Lucas can't catch a break...oh well....I'm sure we overdo it just because, you know? And I think you may be right.....we are on the path for a very looooong Winter....blah!

With all the activity of the holidays, I didn't get to DIS as much as usual. I'm doing just great. Our Christmas was wonderful and I'm so sad that's it's over. My DH was off from work all week and it was awesome. We spent last week playing all of Maddie's new games and playing lots of Wii!!!

We're going to see the Disney on Ice show Jan 31 - so thanks for the "preview" ...

Tips for running in cold weather? - don't!!

Only kidding!! I actually started running in high school in "Winter Track" - so the cold weather and I get along fine ...

Basically - dress in layers ... My wife bought me these (expensive) 2-layer thick set of running tights a few years back, and they're great (and if it's really cold, I'll wear a pair of sweat pants over them ...) On top I wear a long sleeve t-shirt, a heavy hooded sweatshirt, and a wind shell - and a stocking cap (if it's REALLY cold) ... I also wear a pair of special "thin" running gloves followed by the heavy duty winter "ski" gloves ...

Check out Road Runner Sports on-line - they have lots of stuff designed to keep us toasty while running ...

Also - if it's snowing: you have to go for a run!! (unless it's a blizzard ... )

And don't worry about running fast - just get out there ...

I'm so very sorry that I've gone MIA (again!), life has been very hectic here, I'm working more and finding it hard to keep up with DIS!No excuse, I know, and I am trying to be better, catching up on all of your reports first before getting back to mine. And if I'm completely honest, I'm having Disney depression...I went weeks without even logging on here, with no trip in mind, it makes me sad! Anyone else feel like that? I am hoping in the next few days to get on here and get this party started again, no promises, but I will do my best. I hope you will stick with me!!
