I think I was offered my job

at the store in the mall.
It is supposed to end on the 18, but yesterday they asked me if I want to stay.
I think I'd like to. I don't know how easy it would be to find a job with so much I like about it, just for more pay. It's still only part time 20 hours a week though.

That sounds great Laurie!!! If you really like it, keep it! You can always try to look if you really want, for better pay during your time off. You are right though, sometimes it is hard to find jobs that are better than what you currently have. That's why I am still at mine Good luck with whatever you decide!

When I did work in retail, I always liked it!

Ten years ago, I took a part-time job at an upscale department store during the holidays just for a little extra spending money. I'd go in after DH got home from work (to avoid using daycare for the boys) and I really enjoyed it.

A friend once told me I could sell ice cubes to eskimos!

I remember selling 3 Coach handbags to a man once, and I thought to mself...if I was only on commission!! (seasonal help doesn't get commission there.)

If they're offering you a job, they must be very happy with your performance! Congrats!
