I'm so excited! .
I just found out about this being on september 15 (we'll be there September 14-17) and i told my hubby about it, thinking he wouldn't go for it, but he is actually excited. Oh yeah, I did forget to mention to him that it cost extra money :rotfl:
But, I'll buy the tickets and he'll NEVER know :rotfl2:
We have never been to it before, we were actually talking about going in october of next year just for this, so it worked out that it will be going on while we are there. How do you think my kids will do, ages 7 and 2? Is it scary scary? Both my kids can't do to scary. I'm excited!!!!!! :cool1: :thumbsup2 :cheer2:

Very very NOT scary! Gentle fun costumes, dont play up the candy, just take whatever comes, we experienced sparce candy,
......video and photograph parades, very unusual floats and awesome costumes.......everyone dresses up, so dont be shy!
make ADRs at Liberty Tree Tav for as early as possible, 4pm I think we did,
great costumes in there and good start to the party,
Definately not scary!

also,
i seen my kids can dress up. We already have so much that we have to bring that I don't think we can fit 2 costumes in our suitcases. Do they have to dress up? Is a lot of people dressed up? as I don't want my kids to feel left out and have them be the only ones not in costume. Maybe I can ship them to the hotel beforehand....

many many many people are in costumes,, be sure to do lightweight costumes, it is HOT in Fla in Sept/Oct,-
costumes made it so fun, :thumbsup2

You don't have to dress up but it's fun if you do. I've actually shipped costumes to the hotel a few days ahead of time with my name and check in date on the label, then just ship them back home.

My family always picks a theme, one year was Alice in Wonderland, one year Evil Queens, it's just fun and the characters always comment as do the cast members.

Have a great trip!!!!

When we went last year my boys dressed up... but it was SO HOT they had to take off their costumes (long sleeves and pants... Mickey costumes! :))...
I'd say about half the kids were dressed up... maybe less... so certainly not everyone!

What about finding a "halloween" t-shirt for the party??? That will be perfect!

We have never gone before and it seems expensive. How many people do they let in? We would be going on a Friday and I'm afraid it will be crazy! Help!

I just bought the tickets last night :cool1: so no turning back now!!!! :rotfl:

I am really excited for it. I found a wresting (light weight) costume for my son on ebay, and I think I may just get one of my daughters princess dress up dresses with a tiarra for her. I'm trying to convince my hubby to dress up too....we'll see :rotfl2:

First time we attended in 35 some years was last October. We were 4 adults, wife and I in late 50's and daughter and son-in-law mid twenties and we all dressed up. We had the time of our lives but remember to keep costumes on the light and airy side. Even in the late evening, its hot and humid. We thought we would be out of place, adults in all, but on the monorail ride over to the MK, everyone was just about dressed up and it was early October. We rode alot of rides and got a bunch of penny candy. Something to not miss at least once, and dress up!
