Good morning everyone...
Sorry about this question, I should already know the answer...perhaps it is just too early in the morning to think...
I just seen the gift card promotion and the discounted rate promotion for our dates in July. I currently have a 6 night stay booked with tickets and dining. How can I get one of those promotions applied to my package? Do I just call Disney and asked to have one applied (I booked on their website) or do I have to cancel my current reservation and re-book with the promotion?

I have not done it myself but heard many times on the board that you can just call and they will apply it to your reservation. I do recall something about a $50 fee though that seems to get charged sometimes but sometimes not.

Well the first step is to call Disney and see if the code can be applied to your reservation. Disney only allocates so many rooms at each resort for their various promotion. If the room is available with the code then ask them to apply it for you. There isn't a fee to do this unless you are within 45 days of your trip (on a package).

Ultimately the answer depends if the room type, resort and category you have booked now has availability under the promotion. If it does not - you'll need to cancel and rebook to a resort/room/category that does.

If it does - they'll apply to your current reservation.

So.. in short - call in and find out!
