For the last 4 years I have booked breaks at Disney for the few days before Christmas.
In 2007 - our flight was cancelled home (due to fog at Heathrow) and after a lot of anxiety, we managed to get on the last flight leaving CDG for London that night (23 Dec). Decided not to travel so close to Christmas again.
However in 2008 we did it again - no travel problems but was very disorganised for Christmas and decided it was too much pressure and we wouldn't do it again.
However we booked again in 2009 - but this time it was cancelled due to Eurostar problems - train stuck in tunnel for hours and hours a couple of days beforehand and all trains backed up and eventually ours was cancelled.
2010 - decided to give it one more go. This time we thought we weren't going to get home at all!
So we decided DEFINITELY no more.
So now, I'm sitting here twiddling my thumbs, thinking I should be there. So I've spent my time FINALLY doing my trip report from last December. I thought of calling it 'the one with all the BLOODY snow' but changed my mind at the last moment.
Anyway it was good therapy for me and brought back lots of memories.
Thats all I have now, with no more trips planned.
