I sent/received my postcard exchange

I sent my postcards yesterday.

Also, received two postcards from SnowAngel yesterday and a note. I thought it was hot here at 108 last week. She said that she's testing the human endurance to baking in the sun---it was 133 the day she mailed the note. YIKES!!!!! I can't imagine that!!

Thanks very much for the postcards. And, I hope the heat goes down ALOT!!!!

Just received a package of New York postcards (I think I counted 15!) from crazyme5kids! Thank you!

I have only been through western New York on the way to Niagra Falls, while still in high school. (I guess part of Niagara Falls is in NY, huh? But we stayed on the Canadian side.)

I especially like the lighthouses!! The Manhattan card gave me chills just looking at it...having seen it so many times on tv...
You have to love the Statue of Liberty! (The lighthouses are still my favorite, though.)

I also remembered (a little late) that I forgot to include the notes I had written to go along with my cards!
They included my user name...but maybe my recipients can guess who sent them? The notes also explained that I plan to send more cards the first of August (hope that's not against any "rules") as we're taking a couple more "day trips" to some other places where I can pick some up. (Not much in my immediate vicinity and I wanted to get what I had in the mail by the deadline.) So they'll be getting a second package later on!

I received the most gorgeous post cards from rasnlms today! She send three cards of Long Island. One is of South Bay, one of sailboats and the beach, and the other is five different pictures of Long Island. I am ready to go! Also sent me some Disney stickers. Thank you so much Leslie!!!

I got my other postcards! I got a neat assortment from Teri, the Mom of Momof2OH I believe. I didn't see a Dis name for Teri? I received two beautiful cards, a city of Vermillion brochure, a cute tin of red hots from the Disney Store and an incredible lollipop of Lumiere that I'll never keep DS from. Thanks so much! And I agree, these exchanges can be VERY addictive!

I am so sorry, Nutsy - I'm one who forgot to say we'd sent our cards out. They were a day late going cos it's all been quite in our household these last couple of weeks, but they should be well on their way now

Nutsy I think I'm still suppose to receive another postcard exchange can you verify that. With all the exchanges I'm getting mixed up with what is coming to me. I don't get mixed up sending as I try to do it as soon as I receive the names. We might have a postal strike up here soon that's why I was wondering.
