We have a gas cart..and are very happy with it. It is not that loud at all. I couldn't deal with that. I've heard scooters and motorcyles that are way louder than our cart in the campgrounds we've been to. It runs forever on five gallons of gas.
We found our cart by e-mailing every golf course there was in the two counties near to where our seasonal site is. We wanted to avoid the "middle man" I did locate a course that was changing ownership, and he was replacing the older gas Yamaha carts. Waited until the golf season was over and we picked it up. Over last winter my husband had it painted(we have a collision shop) and let's just say now the "Buggies Unlimited" catalog is as popular as the Cabelas catalog in my house.

The guys put a radio/CD player..lights, windshield/mirrors/ hub caps/new simulated wood dash board and steering wheel/and a rear seat. They went to town on it, and I love it!

My husband wants to put a lift in it this winter...personally I would prefer to keep it the way it is.
Of course having the shop makes this a bit easier than it might be otherwise.
Even if we left it the way it was..the body was in great shape, and the engine was good. We did replace the battery, other than that..a tune up and it was good to go.!
I would love to give it a bit more of Disney theme..all I have is a Mickey Antena..and a FW license plate.
