i phone or blackberry?

If you have fingernails the i phone might be tough to use.
I have a hard time using DHs & I don't have very long nails.

After a day or two nails aren't really an issue.

As for which to get, dh & I got iphones earlier this month. He had blackberry before. He says hands down the iphone is the best device ever. And trust me, if it's been out he's had it. He says it's much easier (and faster) to pull up (and find) information on the iphone.

I'd pick a Blackberry hands down. I don't like the touch screen for the Iphone. There's something about getting it all fingerprinted up and dirty that would really bother me. I know that I could always clean it, but it would still bother me.

It bothers me with the Storm. I clean it about 100 times/day. Drives me nuts... :headache:

I chose the iPhone and LOVE it. We have had no problems with our phones or the service.

Please no flames here:

I have both:rolleyes1

I have the iPhone 3Gs (AT&T) and the new Blackberry Tour (Verizon). Yes I use and carry both and yes I'm a gadget geek! Love them both!

So I guess I'm no help to you at all!:confused3

Regarding insurance - AT&T does not insure the phone, it is "insured" through the Apple Care warranty. All repairs go though Apple - you would have to go to a genius at the Apple Stores. The phones come with a one year warranty and you can purchase an additional year when you buy the phone - $70 maybe?

I have a blackberry curve for fun, and a blackberry world edition from work. Fun is pink and work is silver. Yes, I am that girl who walks around at beach bars with a debit card, a license, two blackberries, and lip gloss in her back pockets (only Sophia Petrillo would carry a purse at these places). I am rather in awe of the google-like dynasty that blackberry has developed. Mine are fantastic, work reliably, and offer all kinds of cool features. I can appreciate the differentiation of the i-phone, specifically the way you can physically manipulate pictures and data by motion - that is an innovation that is going to color the way we perceive data for the next hundred years - but they crash a lot, even several generations from launch. So, I remain a faithful blackberryite for now.

P.S. > I always await the next big thing. The HP, Google, Facebook, Apple, VMWare, EMS of tomorrow is currently percolating in someone's garage in California, or Asia, or South America, or maybe in your neighbor's yard. :)
