Can you believe it? I can't! I've been thinking about this for some time now. And I finally decided to take the chance on them. So, can someone please tell me what I can expect from the tapes and how you have progressed from one to the other? Also- What have been the results you've experienced from them??

I've only been doing the WATP tapes for a short while. I quickly mastered the 1 mile walk, and I have been using the 2 mile for about 2 weeks now. I'm probably going to try the 3 mile in the next few days.

You can certainly expect the tapes to go by faster than you will believe-- I did the 2 mile tape this morning, and afterwards, I said, "Wow, that went by awfully quick!" You also won't have any problems learning the moves, as they're really easy to understand. One of the reasons I couldn't do Tae-Bo was because I am too overweight to do all of those moves!

Congratulations and good luck! You'll probably really enjoy WATP.

I bought the WATP tapes about a month ago and so far I like them however I am still using the 1-mile tape. I have not been very good at exercising lately and I never felt like I was quite ready to tackle the 2-mile tape but I hope to get better about exercising soon and trying the 2-mile.

I really like them. They are easy to follow and don't take a lot of time.

I use the 1 mile on busy days  and try to do the 2 mile the other times.......but I still can't do it all with the weights :( I'm hoping to soon. My arms get so tired........sometimes I do it without the weights too, especially if I haven't done it in awhile.

I'm really enjoying the WATP tapes. I do the 1 mile on those really busy days when I have to get out of the house in a hurry. Usually, I do the 2 mile before heading out. Sometimes, I'll do one or the other when I get home, but I'm trying to add in some timed walking at that point (1 mile 15-17 minutes). I've tried the 3 mile, but to find 45 minutes is a real challenge for me, so right now, I'm trying to be good about doing that one maybe once a week.

Between these tapes, watching what I eat and my Curves workouts, I find that I am (i)more energetic (ii)have lost most of my black "undereyes bags" (iii)can go up stairs without pulling myself up-I can actually run up them! (iv)lost inches (v)lost pounds (vi)have ways of dealing with the stress that I am up against.

I think that you'll like the tapes. It is important to me that I make time for myself-and that time is the tapes in the morning, and Curves on alternating evenings after work. Good luck, Karen!

YEAH YEAH YEAH!!!!
You will LOVE those tapes!!! Even carrying around all of these extra pounds, I am able to do all of the moves on the WATP tape. I started by doing the 1 mile every other day. I did that for 2 weeks. Then I added the 2 mile only once to a week, to see how I could do. Well, before you know it, I was hooked and doing a tape a day! I alternated the 1 and 2 miles. Soon I was ready to do the 2 mile each day. Now I do the 3 mile most days - using the 2 mile tape for the days I only have 30 minutes to workout.

As far as the results go... well I started doing the tapes when I started WISH and WW, so you can see how much I have lost in pounds and inches! I will be taking my measurements again at the end of the month.

BTW, a friend of mine called today (because I lent her my 1 mile tape) to tell me that she doesn't believe that I am losing weight because of WW, but because of the tapes! LOL! Be prepared for an upper and lower body workout!!!

I hope this is the info you wanted, Karebear! Please report back and let us know what you think! I can't wait!!! :teeth:

DVC Daisy - check out www.lesliesansone.com for more info about the Walk Away the Pounds tapes. The tapes/dvds can be found on the website, QVC, Target, Walmart, Sports Authority, Sams Club... you get the picture. ;) There are everywhere! :teeth:

Ok...I know a secret ;)

Leslie Sansone USED to be Leslie Tomello (or something like that) and she had a tape out in the 80s that I used to use. She had people of all sizes and shapes which I loved. And her moves were so simple. She also had REALLY BIG hair!

I don't have her WATP tapes, but I did have a couple of her earlier ones (there were two from the 80s/90s and then there was another 3 set with hand glove weights). The only complaint I had is that they wore out. (as videos will). I'm thinking about buying more of her stuff, but only on DVD.

Good idea!! I noticed my 3 mile tape is getting 'lines' across it now.

I am BUMMED!! Of course I could take it as a sign of how often I am doing them.

Next time I am going for DVDs!!

Another WATPs supporter, here!! I've had bronchitis since last week, and really haven't been doing them every day. But have gotten myself to the two mile tape usually and three mile on occasion. They're the best.:D :D

I started a sensible eating plan of my own and the WATP tapes and karebear you can see the results from 1-29 in my signature. Starting weight was 234.5 current (snuck a weight in this morning) 187 So that's 47.5lbs so far almost half way to goal! So from a veteran walker and with moderate success you will love this and be faithful esp once you see results with them. Good Luck

Tammy- how long did it take you to lose that weiight and what eating plan are you doing?

I just changed my eating habits like we talked about in a recent pm conversation. I started it on 1-29 now almost to my 4th anniversary!

I don't know anything about these tapes, Karen, but just wanted to say how proud I am of you!! You are really taking a positive attitude towards this and it makes me so happy to see you so excited now!!

I actually am thinking of getting these because of the results with it...Karen, you will have to let me know how these are!! :)
