I need that coffee!!!

Just got back from our May 7th sailing and among the hundreds of things I am missing is the coffee in the dining room...Does anyone happen to know what they serve? Would so love to know!

I assume you were on the Magic?

I am not sure but I really thought the dining room coffee was just carafes of the same Nescafe used everywhere else.

Yes it was Magic. I thought It tasted totally different than the drink station? Kind of hope it was..not something expensive exotic or expensive.

I feel quite certain it was neither. Perhaps Nescafe.

Oh good question Jinia...my DH loved that coffee too......and i agree, coffee in dining room tasted totally different (a lot better) then anywhere else on the ship ? (drinking station....like Topsider...etc.)

Coffee was also great on the Dream (only tried the restaurants, not on the drink station)... It was good, I do think it was Nescafe, medium.... I buy it. I just checked my cupboard Nescafe Classic medium. I'm sure you guys in the States get it in your grocery stores ( alot more than Canada ...)... I love it!

What if you order from Room Service or at the Buffett in the morning.
What do you get??? NESCAFE??? YUCK!

We were told on the Magic that they serve different coffee in the separate dining rooms - Of the dining rooms, I liked PC's coffee the best, a bit darker roast.

Glad I am not the only one...so I guess will just have to start buying Nescafe starting with medium..it was so yummy in the dinning room...Lexa good investigation

As a frequent coffee drinker I drink an average of 2 pots a day the beverage station (on the Dream) is not the same nescafe as on the wonder a few years ago. The Dreams beverage station tasted brewed and did not leave the residue I find with instant coffee. I was on the 5/19 sailing.

Brewed is best, but a lot of the premium instants are syrups if you shop in the gourmet food stores.

I think it is ALL Nescafe Coffee liquid concentrate and that depending on how much water they add, it can be anywhere from OK to swill. BTW, it is also the same coffee served in the WDW resort restaurants unless you order a French Press Pot.

There is no brewed coffee on the ships unless it's Cove or specially ordered coffee such as espresso, cappuccino, etc. Even Palo is intant coffee. I asked and was told exactly that on the Wonder in April.

Like any instant coffee it can either be more or less watered down.
