My 5 year old needs a new doll stroller. The main problem is that she is very tall for her age so she needs a pretty big one. I would love to purchase her a mamas and papas doll pram but I cannot seem to find any for sale in the US. Would anyone happen to know where I can get one or of another tall doll stroller. This is the main thing that she wants so I am willing to go a little bit more money on this one item. Thanks --- I know you guys will come through for me.:cheer2:

What about possibly purchasing her a nice umbrella stroller instead. Perfect for a taller kid to use and she would get years of use out of it.

Have you tried the one at Pottery barn kids? It is pricey at $60 but, it is made really well.

DD9 still likes to play with strollers. I bought her a new Graco one for her birthday and it is too short for her to push comfortably. I bought a real umbrella stroller for her at a yard sale and she likes it a lot better.

I just bought 2 really cute umbrella doll strollers at Big Lots.

Chicco makes a nice selection of toy strollers. Looks like they are about 26" tall.

If you want a full pram, Maclaren makes one, and the handles adjust for height. It's called the Travelmate, and it goes up to 28".

My kids are 7/9 and use their old lightweight stroller.

One day my son (7) belted Bitty Baby in and zoomed her around the neighborhood. I was so afraid someone was gonna call the police on us for lettling my little boy put a baby in such danger.. it looked very real from a distance. :rotfl2:

I also recommend the regular umbrella stroller. I bought one in Sears when my DS was younger. I'm 5'1" and I felt this stroller was too small for me. :confused3 I got it in the kids clothing section, so I know it was for a child and not a doll.

Just got the Pottery barn catalog and they have a really nice Pram Stroller and the handle adjust to 32.5 inches

I agree with the Pottery Barn Kids pram. The handle adjusts and it is adorable!!!!! Do you have a store near you? You could take her and have her "play":-) Our store has tons of stuff to try out:-) My kids love to play there!

I just ordered the Maclaren Doll pram from toysrus.com. It was $44 I think? I haven't put it together yet, but the handle is taller than that of the regular doll strollers. It's for my tall 6 yr old DD....

The Maclaren doll jogging stroller seems to have the tallest handles but if memory serves me, we had the bitty baby jogging stroller and my girls hated it because it wouldn't turn easily... hence the reason I went with the pram :)

Another vote for the Pottery Barn Kids pram. We bought it for DD when she was 4, both DDs now 7½ & 5 still use it & it looks great! Also very easy to fold & bring w/ us for a special trip to the mall or even grocery store, it brings a smile to so many shoppers faces! :goodvibes

we too are searching for one. dd picked a 8 year old off the salvation army tree that wants a doll & stroller. I figure since she is 8 she is taller than most doll strollers are. we already bought her baby annabell. I looked at the pottery barn one and didnt think that was in our price range or tall enough- all the girls were little in the pictures in my catalog. anyhow I will look at the Maclaren Doll stroller when we go to TRU next.. Im not going to spend more than $45-$50 total with tax..
